RE: Positive outcome30 Jun 2020 11:37
To be honest it is all about sentiment, especially here on LSE. I'm invested in a f ew other stocks and its exactly the same. ODX getting design freeze was massive news for them but it was already priced in and the news that they would only start manufacturing the antibody testsin August means PI's are bored and sell out. Hence the 10-15% drop even after good news. Same over at Avacta. No product yet and wont be available till Aug/Sept at earliest. Covid stocks more than any other are only seen as very short term so people are flicking between them on a daily basis. SNG at the moment is dead news. Nothing to do with our prospects or the company but there is no sentiment. That being said many PI's who are off chasing rainbows (and I've been one of them) will miss this golden opportunity that is right in front of them because it's not todays news. Well it will be todays news if results are successful come end of July and they will be too late. We know what's coming, there is no PR push by Synairgen as they don't need to. This is not a PR machine, this is a small bio company on the verge of striking gold. They will let the drug do the talking when results have dropped and as we predict as deal will most likely already be in place. I can see a massive RNS dropping with positive results and a subsequent deal (licence or buyout). Job done.
As much as we try to find it no-one has come up with any evidence that says IFN B wont be successful.
Come middle to end of July this will be well north of here. I for one will be adding significantly more before then.
Sentiment will come, if it doesn't then it really doesn't effect the companies prospects of success. If this drug is available come winter time then everyone around the world will want it. The press/goverment will do all the talking needed.
Call me a ramper - no i'm a believer!
