agreed, just cancelled mine as thinking it may go under that after placing shares drop. Invariably it always does. Look at AVCT. £2+ and now £1.10 with placing at £1.20. I've de-risked (halved) my stake here as cant see it moving north for some time until placing shares have embedded into the SP.

So they could just buy the drug off synairgen only for Covid use? Surely better value to buy the company with other strings to its bow with future income. As you say either way we should be rewarded which ever way it goes. You wonder why more don’t get involved but guess it doesn’t meet their risk/reward criteria. To be honest if it wasn’t for this BB I’m not sure I would have come across it, especially not on HL as never features on their AIM list.

Thanks Rich. Happy to wait till towards end of year, as Ghia says may take some money out (if in profit!) and let the rest run. I can’t see many other good buys on the market at the moment so best to stick to what I know! Think I know more about synairgen than my own businesses!!

I agree ghia, would possibly need to hold longer term tho to fulfil full SP potential. A buyout would take away those concerns. Anywhere around £5 would do us just well I expect! Listening to Richard tho I think the licence deal is most likely.

I also asked the question last night re what would a license deal do to our potential SP? How would the market value a licence deal?

They never really got the virus under control and then had the millions+ protestors. No law and order in USA right now. Trump has lost the plot. I guess our preferred route would be to the USA market. Any thoughts on the government stopping take overs of USA/UK pharmas? Will that effect us with potential negotiations or are we really just looking at a licence agreement if successful?

Evening all. Yes I agree. I just get the feeling too that at the moment COPD is not the front runner. Everyone is after a treatment for Covid and if synairgen are the first at home treatment that would be massive for the company, the U.K. and worldwide to fight the virus. I assume the bigger pharma’s will have more clout to get an expedited approval from the necessary regulators too.

The question is: if they do a licence deal to say AZ or Gilead etc what would that do to the SP? Would it be resultant on numbers/orders or would you not know that if under licence? Ie would a licence agreement be more of a damp quid to the SP potential or would the longeR term revenue on the licence deal actually be built into the rerate SP? Anyone that’s been through this with a pharma before?

I’m sorry but even though they are blind trials there is NO way Richard doesn’t not know if the drug has been successful or not. You can’t just chuck a drug out there and get no feedback through the trial. Yes maybe not full data but they will know if people have recovered or sadly passed away. Would they use the words ‘successfully trialled’ 100 patients if any one of them died. I think not. Again I may be wrong but I think they would have been more diplomatic than that in their wording. Also with COPD which I believe has been going on for a couple of years, there is no way they haven’t got some sort of feedback from those trials. Richard has put himself and the company out there in full exposure. Should he fail Synairgen is done. I believe he’s not that stupid to risk 15 years of work if he thought it may fail. Just my opinion of course.

We don't know if it will be successful but the amount of research done over the last few months hasn't really given us any reason to think IFN will give anything but positive results. Had it done i would have reduced my holding but in fact i have increased it. It isn't a 'hot' share because it doesn't have major swings like Fastjet or UKOIL, BOIL AML etc. To me that's much better but many will miss out on this opportunity because they go chasing elsewhere. I have done it over last few months, always been too late to the party and come back here for relative AIM safety! I'm now sitting tight till all 3 results have been released and then will review the SP and potential of a takeover/partnership. Can you realistically look at any other share on AIM and see a potential 10x return? I believe this has that potential as £4-5 surely isn't out of the question if all results are successful. In the mean time it may drift further as we may not get anything until last week in July but when it comes Richard is ready!

Chrishar, you need to take a break mate. Your last 10 posts or so have been negative. If you don't believe in SNG sell up. No one is stopping you. Stop trying to get reassurance off everyone. DYOR. This drug will be game changing but if you can't see that more fool you. Richard is not remotely worries about investors or II's selling. If his drug is proved to be successful then that will do the talking..

I wonder if I can ask Richard to read a book to my kids each night? He has a very calming demeanour. (Plus he looks like Mr potato head on peppa pig!) It’s funny how we all flap about in between interviews and then he puts everything back into perspective and calms us all down. I like him a lot and I’m buying into everything he says. I’m not sure he knows how to be deceiving like other CEO’s in AIM.
Prediction: £1 before hospital results (maybe £1.50 if COPD drops before) £3-4 on hospital results and £7 on buyout.

£10b wow now that would be something. We could all retire early on that one!
£1b would be an absolute dream though. Would be nice if it was out of our hands and a deal done straight after results. Wishful thinking!
