not at all. the end value to a pharma will not be dependent on a vaccine. I expect one of the big guys to have sng001 as part of their armoury. For example AZ. Vaccine and therapeutic. Remember that they aren't making any money on the vaccine. They will make billions selling sng001. You need to remember how the world works. Business first, humanity second.

I would beg to differ doc. Our window is just opening. Hospitals are filling up, infection levels at all time high, vaccine a complete unknown atm. SNG001 is proven to work. In just 2 months time we could be looking at distributing 100,000 doses of the good stuff to much needed patients. We WILL be saving lives this winter and with a big pharma partner on board.

Thanks Oxford. Good job i went to A&E as could have been a lot worse. Stuck it out for 2 weeks in pain at home as didnt want to go to hospital with covid around. They were great but the hospital was going into partial lockdown not allowing any visitors the day i left, due to an uptake in covid beds. In Norfolk we are one of the better areas.

I think a 'partnership' will be a takeover. Just cant see anything being left for Synairgen after they pass everything on.
Takeover will be the easiest for us investors as we won't have to choose when to cash in. My estimate is £3billion but could be a lot more.

Once again, watch Richard's interview after the placing. You tell me if he or any of the big pharma's are worried about the vaccine? Not a chance. Interestingly he said 'worst case' they wouldn't be partnered with a big pharma come the p3 results and approval. I have a feeling this will picked up prior to the end results and that could come at any time. Maybe subject to p3 approval but certainly a deal in place. The fact that he says it will be up to their 'partner' to take on COPD, or more trials for other illnesses like premature babies and immunesupressent cancer patients means it will be sold. He says a partner because they can't say takeover at this point. However, what would be left for synairgen and its staff if the partner has taken everything on. And that they have advisors who are doing the deal.

Everything else is white noise. Hold and we will be rewarded.

Phase 3 won’t have started yet. Pretty sure we will get notified when it does. It’s a international trial in 20 countries not NHS sites. Only 45 patients in uk will be on trial if spread evenly. I expect them to start next week now peer review is out of the way.

Ghia - it’s the only thing worrying me. I’m totally sold by the science but it’s hard to be buying when other II’s are selling out. What do they see now that they didn’t a month ago? And other than Polaris we dint know who else bought. We are some 40m shares short!

I don’t buy the risk as he’s invested early doors when it was a lot more risky. I would just feel a lot more comfortable when we know who has been buying. If tikva and venrock didn’t buy at the placing who the hell did?!

Why would LL sell all his shares after being invested in SNG for so long and so close to the finish line? Pretty sure he’s not one to panic on some vaccine news so I find it strange behaviour. It still leaves a huge hole of unspoken for shares from the placing...
