I have known neil murray for years from my days at sigma-aldrich. I now have my own company and we supply redx. I think this is laying down a new base SP wise. Antibiotics are pretty topical at the moment and am guessing II's will want a bigger slice of the action especially if AZ get interested. One to watch me thinks.
The CEO personally. Have worked with him in the past for an American life science major. Would say "this little beastie has legs". This will be pushed along by another major. Expect SP to develop quickly.
They might go indirectly but Our british born Kosovan EA will not relish any sales to Russians. Am sure he will be targeting China, india and uk. Imho.
laters..Ukog on the move.
thanks. I was looking at this last night but what with the KM and GL release and LSE playing up on my mobile, I missed out time wise as had done no research. My gut feeling is I have to stay focused on purebred horses and stay away from the hotly tipped outsiders. that is my own personal take (and I may well lose out as a result).
what is size, price and date of the placing ?
"The geographical focus will primarily be Europe".....DL has visited and dusted Spain , Malta. I guess south of Gatwick does classify as Europe but UKOG does not need finance.
Am not smart enough to understand why DL would resign as chairman of one investment shell, Polemos, to join another. Must assume Evo will support either AFRIAG or FASTJET. That said, he must definitely have a play in mind.
i am a newbee. just bought 1M. It seems like a very interesting share.
I would be slightly concerned if I was Soriot. He and the chairman have put a very rosy forward thinking statement of how much he thinks AZ will be worth in 2025. Pharma data proves that 9/10 drugs don't reach it out of phase III. So the AZ statements regarding sales projections are extremely bullish. If I was PFE I would be happy to wait the extra 6 months as I suspect these projections will have then been scrutinised and put to the test. PFE might not even have to pay as much.
Well if the deal does not go through I can try and sell my 1947 Chas Pfizer & Co Share certificate signed by the then President John Smith (sic. penicillin and oxytetracyline fame). Maybe I could offer it to Ian Read as a consolation prize ...
does anyone want to take a stab at what the AZN share price will be at close on Friday - 4500, 4600 ,47000 ? is it just me or why do I have the feeling there is going to be a further development and that this door is not closed yet ?
daburger - your j.f.kennedy is marvellous but I think this is more appropriate : “Engage people with what they expect; it is what they are able to discern and confirms their projections. It settles them into predictable patterns of response, occupying their minds while you wait for the extraordinary moment — that which they cannot anticipate.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War
