Nobody can be sure about Wyloo intentions. All I would say is that their call option, and if exercised subsequent voting power, gives them much increased influence over Greatland decisions.

Other than the Wyloo influence over Mr. Day and the board, and it’s just possible bid, all to the good for pi’s, there’s no reason to make too much of it now - Wyloo has 4 years optionality.

To that extent, theyre not lucky - used their influence with Newmont.

So the ROFR has effectively had its day. The call option deed now prevails over Newmonts shares - @ 7.2p @ post consolidation new price.

‘The Company notes that 50% of the GGP Shares held by Newmont NOL are, in any case, subject to a call option in favour of Wyloo Consolidated Investments Pty Ltd (Wyloo) and therefore, subject to certain exceptions, are not capable of being sold whilst that option applies, without Wyloo's agreement.’

The 7.2p call option, PLUS ROFR, predates the listing document arrangement, having been negotiated at Telfer acquisition.

A call option deed does exist, under which for four years Wyloo has the right, after giving notice, to call on Newmont to sell at 7.2p.( now equivalent )

Additionally, Wyloo has first right of refusal should Newmont decide to sell shares. ( presumably Wyloo would exercise their option, if they wished to buy - you’d think they would )
