Why on earth would they do that? It would kill the sp overnight shooting share holders including the directors in the foot, and cut off the source of raising funds for future expansion. It's gone quiet here because people's have lost interest because of delays in delivering the factory and sufficient revenue to generate a profit. However, the factory is now finally up and running, and I believe we could be at a turning point. We only need to see evidence of strong growth in sales and this will fly. People are a bit cynical about that because sales have been a bit slow to date, but how hard can it be to sell good quality marble at a discount to the rest of the market? This could drift a bit more on lack of news but I am hanging in in because, when the news we needs drops, I don't want to miss the boat. It will move quickly I think.

Don't know about that. If they were talking about standard offshore wind turbines I would agree with you, but they are not. This is about floating offshore wind and the whole point is that it is potentially much more affordable than sticking whopping great turbines in the sea bed. I am all for some diversification which takes advantage of our know how and I don't think they will be taking their eye off the tidal ball, which we can all agree has great advantages in terms of predictability but is also relatively expensive.

Hi Wizard Rightly or wrongly I abandoned stop losses in AIM long ago as I would invariably get stopped out at some point given the volatility of these stocks and end up having to buy back in. Notwithstanding your views, I cannot personally believe that value will not eventually out here, despite the poor sp performance we have had to put up with for some time. Good luck.

It all adds to the news flow too, which has got to be a good thing.

Bit of a downbeat RNS and this is reflected in the sp this morning, but the events in question are really just a blip in terms of this company's progress and financial position, so this dip is a buying opportunity in my view for those who have funds available.

Interesting article although I note that IOG say it's a only a possibility they are evaluating alongside other possibilities. I like the bit that says whatever they do pursue, they want it to be good for existing shareholders.

If they are getting on with installing the other turbines we should get an RNS soon confirming completion of Phase 1A which will give us a bit of a boost.

I don't think the short positions are responsible for the recent drop in the SP as they have been there some time. More likely the broker downgrade which is still a hold in any event. Some massive buys after hours last night. Can see this bouncing back.
