Motley fool are worse that useless. The only purpose of their 'research' is to pursuade you to pay for their share tipping service.
The main issue I have with them is the fact that all of the writers are independent with no comeback. I kid you not, I've seen two articles released on the same day on that site both talking about the same stock, one recommending it as a buy and one recommending it as a sell!
"why does the NY exchange affect the price on AIM other than just sentiment?"
My understanding is that pink tickets in the USA have to be backed off with 'real' shares, so the markets are linked. - Big buys on the OTC market require shares to be bought on AIM / ASX and vice versa.
Have to admit though I'm not entirely sure how this works!
"GameStop wasn't worth $342 a share but still it got there" - an that's why I have derisked here. ~600’ low to prognosis and is interpreted to be ~500’ thicker than that encountered in the wells drilled into the Willow Oil Field (“Analogue Wells”) to the north of the Project Peregrine acreage."
14:55 You do realise that HL are brokers, not Market Makers? The buy / sell trades listed at HL are as reported on AIM, and there is a good article here: https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/81/idiots-guide-to-the-london-stock-exchanges-setsmm-0379.html
On how the trade is calculated as a buy / sell.
There's nothing nefarious going on here
