that in part is what worries me with the RMG, once sold into private ownership, those that own and run it can't do as they need, they are massively restricted, a private company that requires parliament approval before changing something to do with it's business, interesting scenario.

almost break even now, think i'll step off the merry-go-round if i can get a little profit.

you're not wrong there, in what seems to be a fairly complicated scenario anyway, comprising euros only so conversion required, fluctuating price for purchase,but not selling?? .... on top of these, barclays have made a a dog's breakfast of informing their customers of the options available, not to mention then adding an extra "contingency" amount... i was waiting for someone to say that's their fee (that also would not have surprised me) what a shambles.

agreed, the dividend is ridiculously tiny, and almost pointless, waste not reducing the debt this time around.

especially as they have managed to push a profit through a good chunk of the covid lockdown, no doubt as they said thanks due to their workers (i have no doubt the execs all hid at home!)

but again, company making good progress while many others are folding, and the share price.... yeah no where near where they think they are worth, that speaks volumes and tells you where the market rates this at

agreed, corrupt and inept governments maintaining power by what amounts to terrorism, instead of using the assets in their region to build and prosper, their actions in dealing with international companies (didn't they jail 3 execs after a government meeting because they didn't like the outcome, only releasing them after a 6 figure bribe, oops i mean fine settlement) is only going to leave them dealing with little companies after all the big ones say screw this, and even after a while, those too will pull out, leaving the country going backwards whilst the world moves on and then they'll go drying to the UN or similar body claiming poverty and wanting hand outs.

i've written off my investment here, just another bad choice by me, to invest in a company that has interests in backwards corrupt regions

Todays RNS was positive, a couple of things weren't touched on, but i guess those will play out in time, and i think i'll be back in the blue once they get the union negotiations concluded and everyone is happy.

There are some massive management costs, that i can't help but feel are still holding the group back, and most of these appear to be legacy problems which lead to the bloating in the first place, this has to be addressed, this is a labour intensive business, yet appears to be top heavy in the management chain (too many chiefs not enough indians) and that is financially expensive

correct, years to extract, which, will hopefully, once setup and running, will provide a good income for a long time to come.

unfortunately as we all know too well, from EVERY country in the world, politicians promises aren't worth the toilet roll they're printed on.

I get that, I do.... but it's not just timing the buy in points i'm getting wrong.

Last two i had my eyes on, IAG and AVCT..... didn't buy into AVCT when i had an offer at 98p because i felt i hadn't done enough research.... error, now 90% up, IAG i was watching, had the low price of 170 in mind, watched it fall through that before their imminent results and RI announcement, so held off, could have bought in at 160, but didn't... error, stright to 220 within 5 days, instead the 2 purchases i did make are both down 18-20% and others that i've held for too long i need to average down on to stand any chance getting something back, but i'm constantly on the back f'ing foot as soon as i invest, and just don't have the funds to keep buying on the dips.

yes, the only way to make anything out of this and recover your losses is to trade it, something the inept useless management of this company has forced as the only option.

I swear i'm done with all this, at an opportune moment i think i'll dump my entire portfolio and stick it into a managed fund or ISA, cause i'm constantly proving ******* **** at picking my own investments.

forecasts for when this will hit £1 ?.... would't want to blow by history of being 40-50% down on every purchase
