You cant really use charting as a predictor on a stock like SML, it’s a news driven share and its news that will change the price. Theres quite a bit of potential news coming up over the next months, its that that will cause the increase or decrease, nothing to do with charting.

I sold and took my profits, been holding around 6 months so done ok. Im gambling that there wont be a counter offer made and in that case the price will bounce around 1250/1300p until the takeover is ready to complete in Q3 2026. I feel my money would be better served elsewhere in that period. Good luck with your strategy, a counter offer is always possible

What’s the general thought regarding this weeks PUSU deadline, another extension or an offer being made by one of the parties? I think the fact theres two parties interested will see an offer being made, hopefully this week although it’s unlikely we’ll hear about it immediately

I.m struggling with deciding on a point to get out, sitting on decent profits now but still feel there much more to go here but temepering with the fact that I've sat and watched profitable positions slip into loss making positions in the past.
