Also for WTP I said scancell are now a proper baby bio and not just a Notts research spinout anymore.... so I agree with ruck and berm there we now have the potential to become much more with the staff and infrastructure building... notice posts about what the cost of that is... that does not bother me at all that is what redmiles money is for!..... now what that ought to lead to as the money does indeed get used up is something else... and to me before the money runs out deal/s ought to be done...

BTW scancell now looks more NASDAQ listable.... not saying that is on the cards yet I'd expect trials and data first but.... it was the way of Immunocore and Adaptimmune....

Scancell were a Notts Uni research spinout they are not anymore they are a real baby bio now ...again could pharma/s be looking in and even to a degree directing this... yes it is possible certainly main thing is getting the trials on... then there will be no ignoring scancell

It is why I'm not getting these err dormer posts .... scancell is rapidly growing in an exciting way.... now I'm not saying they are communicating that to us well..... we have to go snooping on Linkedin..... but I suppose it is all part of the redmile money plan again no chance to my mind of any lowball buyouts.... add value to create value.... scancell in theory could be multiple companies each platform could be a potential unicorn in its own right.... yes I do want to know what Zac is all about and sure please tell us more about SA trial and the none injection techs and we do deserve a modi1 update but come on no one can say there is not all kinds of potential multibagger work going on at scancell at the moment... Ruck comms is a poor show and I'd have to agree now they have the money they basically are not too bothered about us....I suppose their way of looking at things is they are busy working to add share holder value... which no doubts they are but we know part of being such a company is keeping good clear communication relations with investors... and yeah we collectively make up one of the most significant holders of scancell... so poor show Cliff and co!

AB ... I know Lindy knows the value of her platforms and is not going to be giving anything away... we had all this being taken out at 23p nonsense before... Evans even got in on it... IMHO never going to happen ....partnerships yes and I would love a full pipeline one with a serious capable player.... but if not platform or product ones....

certainly with trials... maybe one century coming you do not sell the company ..... Covidity could add $$$ billions here especially with AvidiMab being involved and well we all know or should the potential value of moditope which modi1 trial could prove up....

So no fear for me of any low ball buyouts.... I do wish they pulled off significant partnership deals though.

BTW that they did not going through with the MaB deal I think shows their thinking.... they are going to add value to get value.

Lindy won't be resigning all her life's work is here Scancell being basically the vehicle to get that work out into the world and changing peoples lives for the best.... no simple task!...... as we have learnt over the years

The issues here have been discussed loads the best way to look at it is how Vulpes and Redmile have and that one of the biggest hurdles of having significant funds has hindered any kind of rapid progress... we see this changing now with the strengthening of the BOD/management team and hiring of staff and creating a lab in Oxford that will translate Nott's research into real-world trial-ready and beyond products....I'd like to think some pharma observers are impressed as that is the final piece getting pharma deal/s validation and valuation it is how pretty much all the others do it ....

hopefully, we get to see that vid and or an update tommaz from the OXT event

The main Scancell thing is though Lindy is giving her support as 'Scientific Advisor' showing once again what a spotter developer and supporter of talent she is....

There certainly has been a huge addition to IP since 2015..... Can't be bothered listing it all but just AvidiMab alone for example......
Again the most heartening thing is since Lindy finally getting decent funds from redmile the company is being built up quite literally and this to me is the most important factor,... I think berm has written about the significance of the Oxford lab and that can't be overstated..... we have our unicorn neighbours there Adaptimmue and Immunocore... both of whom I would not invest in myself but scancells IP potential is far far far more than those to my mind which is where the disconnect between IP and SP becomes most tantalising as the rewards could be huge and rather rapid on real tech valuations coming in..... that is the final missing piece the validation of commercial pharma deal/s arriving I like to think they are now more likely due to the company becoming just a novel research uni spin out into a proper product producing Oxford-based biotech....The journey has been a long one lol but let us all hope 2015 is well and truly in the past now for scancell and us :)

It takes IP building to create a bio unicorn (£1billion mcap) and the IP is here now the infrastructure of building the company up to be a capable unicorn is also happening (Oxford Labs) lots of new staff and board strengthening....

All the pieces are now in place for scancell to become a UK biotech unicorn.... Covidity could be the fast track but moditope is the cherry.... with AvidiMab a luxurious icing :)

I'd hate to miss the commercial action arriving.... Redmile are not stupid they have recognised the opportunity here.

Lindy is really spending the redmile millions which is right that was the whole idea.... what it needs to lead to though is some serious pharma partnering/commercial action.... I've always thought doing a whole pipeline partnership with a serious committed and capable partner that 'gets it' would be the best way forwards for scancell... a genentech/roche but now BioNTech themselves have the clout too...

Although that paper is a moditope one and as far I'm aware that was going to be delivered by plain old injection....*baffled :)

electroporation is not exactly needle-free! It's needles plus an electric shock!... I'm not sure the Ichor will be used for Covidity despite what that funding page says... maybe at an early stage it was touted seeing as it was successful in trial already....

Really I don't know I do think we are due for an update and to be given a clearer picture which may well come from this OXT presentation (hopefully) ... I think you wrote about modi 1 and us being kept in dark there too which I agree with... if there is a trial delay there which indeed there could be due to that trial being scancells great shot on goal and Lindy wanting to make sure she gives it the best chance of success possible with knowledge around the tumour microenvironment and how different individuals may react increasing all the time and that may well be impacting trial plans .....I would not mind any of that so long as we are informed! As at least with modi1 we know if it works it will show that very fast on a therapeutic dose....

As a company is growing with more staff an Oxford lab that will translate the Notts research into actual real-world products (we hope) and differing roles for already long-established staff.... I found this interesting via me doing some Linkedin browsing not snooping lol!
