Sanctions is also relevant.The relevance of N Korea is difficult. It msy be postiring but it is getting very very precarious now!! A true rogue nation threatening a monstrous one. Yes I would say so. Latest 15th Nov. They did mention they are aiming to pay off govt. debt early. Sale proceeds from RRL ($4.6m) arrives by end Q4 too. I think Trin have about 12 mill in cash atm. They are very prudent with cash now. I have suspicions that we may see Trin make solid further progress re.s/p very very soon. I know nothing about CERP except that they are in Trinidad. You are spot on. 48.8 is ave realized SPT limit at 6% discount. has to be over that for 3 months yes. WTI still under $54.4 which is the perceived threshold by Trin. Ave $48 last 6 months $49 last 3 months. It'd really have to be on a blinder to average over 54.4 for 3 months (but perfectly possible). T and T govt. due to implement the profit based SPT before end of year though. Not price-based.so...even though precise details not available yet....it should no longer be WTI based from there. A good thing if T and T want increased production.Higher WTI price instigating SPT was effectively strangling increased production for some companies before the slump.

I'm not. Don't know if Hinkais is. Touchstone is the Calgary-based company which nearly bought Trin's onshore fields in Oct 2015. That's how I know them.They decided to relinquish all their other assets and focus purely on Trinidad because of cheap onshore drilling and favourable political/tax climate. I've not followed them since but know they have recently rerated.

Yes....bit silly really. Share price almost same as Trin and they only produce 1500 barrels a day. Trin set to double that. We are well back in undervalued territory again considering latest results and prospects.
