The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
i exited in various slices, over a period of a few months. Please don't call me an idiot if you don't know the difference between "your and you're". The irony is too strong. Also, pretty certain i had the lowest entry point on this board (which you can check in my posting history), so frankly i made a 10x bagger and you lot are clearly not viewing the situation objectively. The only way to make money on AIM is to buy low and buy value. Why anyone would see a positive risk/reward ratio at the current SP is beyond me.
A 5 minute saliva test with >90% accuracy was supposed to be out there by JUNE 2020. just take that in for a moment.
Lateral flow tests are available for free in the UK, i assume elsewhere. AVCT really missed the boat on this one. Could have made billions. I strongly believe that this will return to enterprise value before the end of the year, which is probably around the sub £1 mark. My most profitable stock buy of 2020, being in since 16p - exited 150-200 range. But totally overvalued for where they are and what they have. Shame.
On a risk / reward basis they probably were nuts . Long term, it’s just terrible value.
Eric - what am I lying about ? Posted when I bought, gave my opinion on the company and lack of progress when there was a captive market , and then when I sold. How exactly does buying at 16p and making 10x on investment make me a clown . The clowns are those buying after the rise , expecting a 500m MC company to do another 10x ( which it won’t) and then ramping daily - whilst making zero returns . I guess you read the tips section in the sunday papers too . :-p
What do you mean we will win in the end Munchbox? LTH already wining, this is 5x my average buy in price.
Malbright - Don’t forget the cash burn historically has included drilling and cash intensive activities relating to the BFs . Once this is completed the rate will massively slow down to admin only . We have plenty of cash for a couple of years.
Brilliant posts Nig.
It’s unlikely we will be getting an RNS that soon . BFS always scheduled for H2. The recent rise is just acknowledging how undervalued we are vs peers - RBW / HAS etc , and the market realising that we have three or more interested superpowers.
It's to reflect the CEOs warrants.
I would be very surprised if there was . We have been trading at around a third of the market cap of our peers for a while - this action today is just a response to the meeting . Could take months.
6 years veggy? TSX? We are coming up to the 5 year anniversary on AIM
Zak has nothing to do with this rise. Bloody marvellous .
200 billion euro company who operate logistics in Malawi and are stated to want to get involved in clean tech?
Don’t forget chaps we still own 51% controlling interest . I would assume from the fact we are meeting with such heavyweights, there is some sort of exit clause - which means Talaxis can’t enforce the mine funding on Mkango , earn the additional 25% and secure the offtake. Let’s face it, whoever controls the offtake holds all the card. This is absolutely game changing . £1 new target. Likely this year.
Morning mate . Struggling to find any info on Director holdings - what’s your view here ?
Munch - fair play - I don’t trade though. I always look for a low / under the radar entry , hold for between 1-5 years depending on how it develops. Been here years but accumulated most at around 5p so the 10% swings don’t bother me . Exit 75p
Munch - what do you defined as "a while"? Regardless of possible updates on Thambani, Chimimbi and Mchinji (which may land at any time) , you do understand that we are in the middle of a 3+ way war to secure our asset don't you? We have a Russian TR1 holder, an MoU for mine funding with Chinalco and the US DoJ mentioning Songwe. Plus the BFS will be published in a few months.
Shhhhhh!
Ah i remember you now, the guy that bought at 20p and sold at 23p in a share thats risen from 5p to 26p in 12 months. Trying to justify buying after a massive rise and selling after another tiny one. I am sure you are a successful trader, and there will of course be pull backs here inbetween periods of news, but based on all of the facts, MKA will be closer to £1 a share in the next 12 months. i would consider this a tactical hold if i were you.
