Great piece in the new statesman about cultured meat, mentioned Upside. Said regulatory approval in the USA is imminent but the uk gov are a bit baffled by it - it's too scientific for a tory government. It hurts more when the ****ness of the govt affects my money.

I made 300% on SNG in 2020. Just saying
Agreed snowboots. At best it's just badly written at worst its misleading. And either way perhaps it's just unnecessary. I suppose he's trying to show us that the marketing is working and that it's growing quickly. But I don't trust the wording.
I don't entirely trust GB. His RNSs are almost as ambiguous as his tweets. Ambiguity breeds distrust - especially for legal minds. I understand that in order to make a product popular you have to act like it's already popular - nobody wants to go to a party if they think nobody wants to go to it. But it breeds distrust anyway.
I have a lot of faith in the company and a large holding so I'm invested emotionally. I'm sensitive to ambiguity.
So there are fewer than 2000 skin trust members. Hardly the numbers GB was implying there were.
It rules out an imminent purchase. Nigel could be accused of insider dealing in that case. Maybe that's why he's done it - to dispel any gossip.
Nigel and Gerard certainly seem to be dominating Microsaic management. No mention of any other board member or senior management compensation. I'd like to be a fly on the wall in the microsaic offices.

These individual companies in ANIC's portfolio are growing at an enormous rate. This year and next are going to be massive for Agronomics.
My prediction is that we will soon hear about Agronomics stumping up cash for this UK company Ivy Farms. Jim's been sniffing around it for a wee while. They're on a recruitment drive.
There almost certainly is a buyout coming - Dr Nigel Burton joined the Modern Water board just months before they were bought. It's a pattern.
A reminder of what we've got -
Last year
· March: commercial agreement with DeepVerge plc (“DeepVerge”; AIM: DVRG), facilitating international deployment of Microsaic’s products and services in applications such as water monitoring of chemicals and pathogens, and in support of DeepVerge’s rapidly growing Labskin division
· May: collaboration with Swansea University to combine real-time monitoring of environmental water using AI in determining the link between environmental chemical pollution and human health
· May: Heads of Terms (“HoT”) with a Chinese distributor for the distribution of Microsaic’s technology as part of a medically licenced bed-side solution for therapeutic drug monitoring (“TDM”) in China.
· June: initial shipments to a newly signed Chinese partner to secure medical licence for China to deliver real-time TDM with future recurring revenue opportunities (including service and reagent consumables) expected in 2022
· June: increased orders through DeepVerge sales channel under the framework agreement

I haven't been following this closely but originally bought because Gerry's wife bought. Do they both still have their shares do we know?
