You've got to wonder how risky it is to be short in TLW. SP is not reflecting oil price. Can the shorts lose? The experience of PMO suggests they can't when they have a tight grip.
9th Jun - POO 39.7$ - SP 40.7
25th Nov - POO 45.5$ - SP 36.9
6th Jan - POO 50.7$ - SP 32.2
Is it risk off, better opportunities, the move to green agenda, or one look at the share SP over the last two years indicating the company is in poor health and in a long term down trend. Does the level of shorts flag up the troubles and put investors off. Some one a few days ago wrote about tailwinds and headwinds. The drilling campaign must be the biggest potential game changer. The dusters late last year did for TLW, it needs some very good news to turn this around. Fingers crossed for Suriname.
