hands up who’s scared of mouse ..hahahaha
mittenator , mouse just dropped the mike on you . hahaha ...absolute savage
mouse ... you’re a savage ... hahahaha
in my opinion the more Amigo customers hear about this idea the better . So what i’m going to do is write one review a day until the court case ,on trust pilot pointing out the advantages to everyone , if they buy shares in Amigo . i’d love people on here to do the same . The more reviews pointing this out , the better . Or whats OUR alternative ... sit back , do nothing and pray the vote goes our way .
without exaggerating , there could be thousands of families in a couple of yrs time , having £5k in the bank , and these families are typically on minimum wage and struggling ...sarah the camel should be pushing THIS advice , rather than trying to bring down a company and putting over 400 people on the unemployment list .
frankie , in all honesty , all i want is the YES vote off them , but even if it was 50p when they bought shares , they’ll still get 5x their money if the share fully recovers ... but for me the massive positive here is nobody loses ...
gruntie , i agree that not all will think like that , but you would need to be really really stupid to take £300 today ... or £5000 in two yrs ...the more i think about this , the better it gets .., EVERYONE wins ...
i have put a review on trust pilot , ive said the clever thing to do is vote YES , and buy shares in Amigo with their compensation ... i pointed out that a share is less than 15p just now , but was £2.70 not so long ago ... there £300 compensation could be £5000 in 2 yrs ....or vote NO out of spite and receive nothing
lines7 , tbh i dont blame you . but id rather he voted yes than no .
a friend of a friend is waiting on his case from Amigo , he admitted that he finds it strange that he’s getting anything , but he’ll take it (estimated to be £550) he asked me his alternatives , and i said “ the only way to get more than your £550 , is vote YES , then with your £550 , buy shares in amigo , a very conservative estimate is his £550 would be £1500 within the year . he asked me how to buy shares , i said “ its as simple as downloading the trading 212 app , or the freetrade app and buying them through that . He said thats what he’s doing ... so we definitely have one yes haha
if a customer got offered 10% or 20% compensation of the value of their loan , or got offered shares in Amigo ....my guess is 90% of customers would take the shares . it also makes them vote yes for the soa ... the more i think about this , the better it gets
how about this for an idea , give the Amigo customers shares instead of compensation , then its in their best interest for the company to do well , if the soa is approved , the guess is the share price will triple from here ... its that stupid its genius
LTH thankyou for a decent reply , and not a sarcastic one .... i was merely trying to point out that JPM could start a new company rather than invest in Amigo , because lets be honest , its not got the best reputation at this moment in time .
BTW , 25% of my portfolio is Amigo , so obviously i was delighted when they did invest , but trying to look at it from a neutral point of view , i just think why ??? even you mention the household brand name ..., that is mud just now , its had so much bad press .....£165m .....,, thats pennies to JPMorgan .,
JPMorgan will have fca approved employees , and do they really want ex customers emails after they all put claims in ??? so i don’t get what’s so funny .. if you dont think JPMorgan could go out and start a brand new loan company ....then you’re deluded .
i’m going to ask a stupid question here , why have these two massive companies invested in Amigo .. why do they not just start a new company thats not going through the courts ...they MUST know something we dont ...
jimmy , you have admitted yourself that these people were desperate ..so Amigo lend these people money , and now these people want compensated for being helped at their lowest point ??? i honestly dont know what goes through your mind mate , the only thing Amigo did wrong was trust people would fill in the loan application without lying . These people committed fraud , i get that they were desperate , that doesnt make it right , if you’re desperate and rob a bank ... you still go to jail
jimmy , its like me going for a mortgage to buy a 1million pound house .... i lie to the bank ... i get the house which i clearly cant afford , i then try and get compensation off the bank for lending me the money .. its crazy , the world has lost the plot .. imagine we all acted like this ....the world would be in turmoil
that message was to jimmy
ive no problem in someone having a different opinion to me , but you seem like a left wing tree hugger who has lost touch with reality . 95% of claims are people trying their luck , people saying they were desperate .. on their last legs , so Amigo lend them money , now they want compensation for it .., these people know the apr , they know about the guarantor ... i have zero sympathy for them .. as far as im concerned , its they who committed fraud by lying on their loan application . Amigo should sue THEM for compensation
