So...straight to it, I've taken an absolute punt on this with some profits I've made on other miners well I've allocated 1700 quid so far and it's in profit atm. Ive read about raglan and how they are going to wash the gold out with alluvial techniques which is the cheapest way to do it...when are they going to say how much they've panned out and is my punt going to pay off as I've got about 500,000 shares . Ive been looking for another bagger after paf and I hope this is one of em. I know many people are more invested than me but I like these mining boards good comments and tips from guys with experience. Cheers and glad everyone

Ive seen this a few times..not only paf but others as well..the stock closes officially at 138 but now on google after hours it's 133.5 quite a large drop..I know it's liquidity but does this affect opening price tomorrow

Ive had my eye on tsk for a while bought 1k worth at 1.55 canadian forecasts to go up 150%this year to around 5 dollars canadian..it has the old bralorne mine which was closed in the 70s due to a low gold price but has millions of gold still to be mined they just have to build it. But they have poured gold already from the mustang mine..

Nice one bustard and nostra re other miners..they are not always easy to find on your own so this site is great for that. I'm always going to be in paf..well until I retire in 6 years but we all need to find another one like it...cheers sniper

I'll have a look at ecr but I did a quick glance and they've been up and down in the past 5 years gone down 85% now it might be a new starting point I'll keep my eye on it pal africa is a lot less risky nowadays as they all want the money

THX now...currently 84p having their results from the pfs douta on Monday share price will re rate potentially 2m ounces of gold to dig out if inital drills are correct..anyhow I've bought in at 75p last week so done ok already but if you read what they are doing in Senegal and cote divory and the ceo says this year will be "transformationl" so I reckon he already knows this is going to be a ten bagger at least within 5 years...anyhow dyor but I've gone in and I did the same with paf at 33p great share and the xmas dividend paid for me and the Mrs nye trip to London..

Well.grey..i got pan african resources at 33p..and nvidia at 100 dollars so not doing bad and what I've read around this one well we will see..I hope you're right and this production report this month might give some insight. And I've watched this share for 2 months and seen it rise and rise..that's the main for me

Can I just ask being new here..why is this company massively undervalued? From what I gather there is only one mine contributing to the production levels. Why are we so sure the other projects will be successful ie drill results and surveys? I sincerely hope they are as i am in for the long term

Ive just bought into this share in the hope that all their predictions come to light...I can't quite get my head round gold has just dropped nearly 2% and we are up on google to 76p..all the other gold miners are down!

Thanks Bustard..well I've monitored both hoc and fres for the past 2 months and have made the call to invest in hoc so my 2 main holdings are paf and hoc now..hoc has gold as well and at 5.75 a share i reckon could go to 10 quid if silver continues to climb...I think people are now going into silver as a safe haven as well as an industrial commodity as the dog is just too expensive...as for companies that can treble ive looked around at some juniors in Canada and I like tsk or talisker resources it's just started production in gold and has the old bralorne mine which has estimates of 2.5 million oz..when fully developed and a share price forecast of 5 cad..currently at 185 cad..junior miners all seem to be abroad so you have to figure in exchange rates and the like...

Hi Bustard..I also look on 6 months rather than daily movements and I am loathe to leave PAF however I've thought recently in the short term transferring to fres and hoc as the silver price is performing much better than gold atm..either that or cash the lot and buy silver bullion..my Mrs has made 4k in 3 months with her bullion on bullionvault.com..what do you reckon

It would have definitely worked yesterday that rise was clearly too much in one day with no news and the gold price stable..we will all be alright tomorrow it'll get most of it back pog is now 106.5 kg rising up..good luck all

You can always put a stop loss on this share as its listed in the uk...probably 5% would give you leeway either way

Thanks Mike an excellent response and like you I think these forecasters are way behind i mean some of them have been breached already. I agree that this forthcoming year the pog will rise although not at the same pace ..but probably hit 4800 per ounce at some point later which will benefit the share price.

I do have a thought about rises like yesterday in that it is best to cash out 15 mins before the bell take the profits and wait for it to drop the following day and buy back more shares or take a profit. I have done this on one occasion and gained 1200 shares..I think anything over 5 % in a day is not likely to be replicated the following day.

The other miners have dropped similarly today as fres is down 4.5%. I'm sure nem will drop 5% plus today. I wouldn't do it for anything less than 5% but once it goes over that in a day it's not a bad idea ive seen it around 5 times in the past year and it has always gone down the following day to the point were you can book profits or buy more.

The option is to switch your computer off believe in the company ...have a look at their website it is great...and look again in a year.
