Yep, like you say one way or the other. I expect end March/early April so 3 months before current planned drill (wait to see if ARA drift that at all though) But currently the drill is expected to spud sometime July to September.

Evening steve/Frank. Can't disagree, it is sell the asset or fund and I think they will need cash come end March if there is an early Q3 drill as the operator expects.

It will be good to just see it resolved before the 3D is completed over Ruvuma and then finally there will be more than one feather to the AEX Bow again!

Well lets face it BG, they no longer bring anything to the table anymore, sure in the old AEX operator days they contributed money and technical in terms of NR's Geological analysis but both are long gone.

Now that the path is cleared ref the tax issue, it would certainly be good to see Government approval for a work programme over the KN licence and the award of the Nyuni extension. Surely any potential M&A must be dependent on such approvals?

Apologies I stand corrected the highest price paid in the last 12 months only seems to apply when the 30% rule kicks in so not much chance of that unlike AEX where the Zub's hold just under 30%.

BG, I can't claim to understand the true reasons beyond the issues surrounding water & potential & being compartmentalized. Certainly am no Geologist or driller but left the meeting with the impression that any deeper perf comes with risks and may or may not be a success.

Either way, AEX no longer have any operational skills to undertake any works even if approved.

Unfortunately I think the conversation is a little immaterial to the situation today.
There is a lack of cash but more to the point there is no one left in the business to plan and undertake remedial, side track or virgin drilling operations. This is good news for G&A but clearly AEX are not in a position to operate anything right now which leads me back again to a farmout/down of KDL and Nyuni if we are to see any progress.

Well if anyone wants the assets they could buy the company for 1.85p per share for the whole company, that being the highest price paid in the last 12 months.

Maybe, or maybe £20 million in the bank - what 10%, standard fees. So £18 million V mcap of £5 mill today. All depends on what you like to bet on the market, as all share trading is little more than that and never more so with Aim.

Not going to happen . The old BOD did make that promise ref a divi, but it was based on NR's NAV of $100 million for the asset, which as we have seen was way of the mark.

They have already said what they will do with the money, invest it in projects that fit the strategy.

Got to be a shareholder to get a divi Dan.
