If this is completed as I expect it most probably will then not only will have Aminex enough cash to drill C1 (including the deeper Oil target) and move the PSA to production but the cost to Aminex due to any farm in would be reduced by the relevant %. For example if the Zubairs farm in to 24% of the PSA than C1 drill cost to AEX will be reduced by 24% or by around $4.1 Million etc.

I think we will let the Rig and the Zubairs do the pumping bucks.

Depends on if & how many $Million pop into the coffers courtesy of the Zubair Farm out. Aminex could raise money far in excess of the annual production from KN-1 after all. Enjoy the weekend, still all to play for with the Farmout and drills imo.

That Aminex have the multi billion $ Zubair corp. Still I for one am quite happy that Aminex have their cornerstone investor in the Omani Zubair corp who have all the connections necessary @ a political and Sovereign level, after all why else would they looking to be farming into more of the Aminex assets if they were not assured of the development to production?

The statement around KN-1, not only is it not to be capped and closed in as was my largest fear but now it appears that they will complete a work over with the potential to delivery significantly more gas from the reservoir whilst they are still producing (although I did expect to see a confirmed average for the last 5 months!) Fully agree Jetty but like Crusty points out I am concerned by the value that the BOD are able to recover from the full risked NAV. I think we would need 10% of votes to get a movement added to the AGM for vote, but if we had the full 10% then we might as well just vote them out anyway ;)

I did say Mr J, this is info on past events.....the full results report tends to add more meat to the bones and provide some bedtime reading ;) Some good news on KN-1 @ least. Crusty makes a very good point ref licences and I look forward to an update.

Got to wait for the full report for any meat then. Well it is a report mainly on last years performance so as expected or there about. Will have a proper read through later, but additional gas reserves through re-entry of KN-1 would be good to see. 2 drills this year then?

I said the report is on events from 5 months ago, the cash and rec and production figures for that period have already been published and the Sp dropped from over 4p on flow rates published.so an average flow rate of 3 scuffs for KN-1 So worst case would be plugged. Please don't miss quote me.

Hardly of any material consequence when there is a farmout in the offing. Stepping back for a moment, the Zubair corp will not let their 30% investment sit and do nothing. So either the farm out is on or they will just make a hostile takeover anyway. So the EOY cash position, dare I say it is irrelevant.

Good point Crusty, I keep missing out the licence. Surely wither the 25 year development licence or at least an appraisal licence to drill C1 is required. The market reaction to the first would be massive and the second most positive.

Hi LT, well I feel comforted at least by the fact that we already know year end numbers and production rates in December @ KN-1 so the only possible bad news for me could be that KN-1 is plugged, although most of that news is already priced in. On the Flip side, the reason for hold could be , Farm out Negotiations Update, KN-1 compression agreement with the TPDC? So on balance I am not expecting anything worse than KN-1 cap but potentially significant upside. Otherwise why wait for the EOY? Good luck

Not far out perhaps for End of year HY but based on the fact it is almost May, those receivables should have been paid by now.
