Tarry, if foreign investors see no return then foreign investment dries up and the Tanzanians get no gas - no one wins.

Tanzania is dependent on that foreign investment both private and through the current World Bank loans to pull itself into the first world.

The sooner the better for the Tanzanian people I am sure you would agree and I am sure once the Farmout is ratified then they can get on with the development plan, unless of course you consider the Omani's to be foreign investors and the Government are going to block the deal?

I remember reading the same in a previous article about supply of LNG for onshore domestic electricity generation leaf.

With a growing economy and demand for electricity generation from Tanzanian gas, Aminex and it's partners seem well placed to supply from onshore whilst the LNG option is developed, the same is detailed in the GAMP report although it was only expected to supply from onshore for the first 3 years, seems this timeframe may well be extended.
