Scirocco and ARA Petroleum Tanzania (APT) have executed amendments to extend the longstop date of the proposed transaction from 30 June 2023 to 31 August 2023. Although Scirocco has continued to make progress with the Tanzanian Revenue Authority ("TRA") regarding obtaining tax clearance for the divestment of Ruvuma, Scirocco and its counterparty agreed it was prudent to extend the longstop date given this process is taking longer than expected.

1.0 There will be no RoJo in attendance

2.0 There will be no Prosci in attendance

The gas price in Tanz is fixed through a GSA and linked to the US consumer price index, fluctuations in Hub prices have no impact.

Roll on that GSA and I expect the price to be a little north of the old KN1 Price, depending on the Calorific content and the results of the NT2 test that are due should give an idea?

Heaven forbid not at all Tanz, although interesting all the talk of the early 70's earlier does paint a picture.

Imagine for a moment a pub early 70's and this guy walks in regularly and harasses and worries the old 80+ regular in the corner supping a pint. I imagine that the other regulars would sort things out pretty quickly and put the chap straight, early 70's style of course.

Still back to present day & reality, it is hardly difficult to evidence that AEX is now in the best position it has ever been in terms of monetising it's very significant gas discovery.

Pah! heard all the same on the AEX board prior to the Farmout mrc and what a load of absolute market manipulating tosh it all turned out to be.

There is certainly a huge amount of news flow expected between now and end of year as per the excellent list provided by RJ (thats R jolly not Rojo) They will do very well to get first gas by end of year never mind October & there are some huge pivotal and transformative steps due way before then.

A clear indicator that AIM is now dead. A 75% increase in gas production and a 5% SP rise.

Time to go to other markets

Funny that Mr C you were very vocal about how bad the deal was at the time and now it's not done you love it. Oh well like AA says, all water under the bridge.

So if ARA are to be believed, SCIR should receive $6 million this year (before expenses)
