Alongside exploration, Tanzania is accelerating development of existing upstream assets to boost domestic energy supply. The Ntorya Gas Field, for example, is emerging as a game-changer. With over 3 trillion cubic feet (TCF) of gas reserves, Ntorya ranks among the world’s “giant” gas fields but benefits from lower development costs and faster production timelines compared to offshore projects. Production is expected to start mid-2026 from the NT2 well, ramping up from an initial 60 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) to 280 mmscf/d within five years.

Our Friend in Tanzania believes the pipeline contract will be awarded April/May

The pipeline will kick of the work on the existing wells to ready them for production and pipeline completion.

So it seems production would be Q4 25 at the earliest? ( Any opinions)

Drill Rig

M&P are due to start Q2 25 and have 3 wells to drill so if ARA are going to use the same rig for CH1 then the earliest we could expect to see a spud would be around Q4-25 /Q1-26?

So all hangs on the pipeline getting started with a build tome of around 4 to 6 months.

I assume once the pipeline contract is awarded we will get an RNS with revised timescales.
