Fully agree Crusty and I think the plan for solo was always to drill C1 before farming out/selling, that I think probably changed with the move by the Zubairs and AEX to move the 3D seismic from post 25 year development licence to only farmout completion and effectively squeezing solo's position..

Was that the main reason for moving the 3D seismic in order to force solo's hand? It certainly would not surprise me based on what I have seen of the Zubairs thus far.

Interesting email from the solo PR company when pressed for details on the update they said they were working on 2 weeks ago.

"The company is still working on the update. As I'm sure you'll appreciate there are always moving parts - especially in the current environment. I cannot guide on precise timing (which is largely out of company's control)"

So either related to a deal they are doing for a new asset or linked to their disposal of Ruvuma?

The blokes taking the proverbial Bucks, this share would move north quickly if he was replaced or bought a nice chunk of shares with his own money & I don't mean options or % shares as salary, I mean the real deal.

I was thinking the same BG, It would make a lot of sense for the Zubairs to tidy up the JV now and take all or part of solo's 25%, they do after all seem to like the asset so much.
