I doubt it myself trrime, export gas pipe to Uganda and now one to Kenya, capacity 1BCF per day according to the TPDC. I would not be surprised if the GOV tell them that they will not get a sign off till after the election though.

There is already a shed load of gas discovered and the potential upside huge. The asset bun fight has been underway for sometime post NT-2 I can only hope that we see a conclusion to the carve up this side of Christmas.

The days between make no difference steve and you can't read anything into it. I would not be surprised if the Tanz Gov simply said that they are in the middle of an election and will talk to the Zubairs after the end of October when the election is concluded. After waiting years do you think the Zubairs would not wait another 2 to 6 weeks?

If of course they do bail, then we are all right back to where we were in 2017 with the appraisal well drilled, huge gas proven up and no way to fund development, AEX would have to go to the market for the money or the zubairs take over AEX or any one of many other possibilities.

As per usual, it's a waiting game.

AEX did well to discover and appraise Ntorya (with plenty of help from SOLO and Neil Ritson ) whilst using that old rust bucket rig CO2 (pun intended)

I don't think Crusty has had much of a good word to say about Aminex since the $5million cash offer (with $35 carry) and to be fair very little has happened since the NT-2 appraisal, so not much to cheer about other than what has always been there in the basin & the potential for even more gas and possibly oil as found in the cuttings and the West and updip geological theory.

The offer is on the table to the Tanzanian Gov for the JV under Zubair operatorship to invest well over $100 million to bring the basin on line, do they want it?

Fully agree Caddy, the name change is fully dependent on a Ruvuma deal which seems to be fully dependent on the AEX/Zubair Farmout first.

A change of directors would be pointless and just cost a lot of money and issues whilst still being left waiting for the AEX/Zubair farmout. Anyway, sounds like they have at least one potential buyer based on their last RNS, why screw that up? unless you are representing a buyer of course.

The name change is probably most likely to be implemented post any Ruvuma deal conclusion.

There are already UK sanctions in place against Turkey and any EU sanctions will apply to UK companies at least till the 31st December if not after.
