Thanks guys , i genuinely do not research stocks. I saw this peak at up 28% on the day and got in at 27.5 , ups 12% atime. For the askers i took a mere 2.5k punt as I thought the divi announcement was imminent , i since added another 2.5k. It was just a punt. I am seriously not sure what to expect.

Ps , i have just punted 5k for the div , i just can't my head around it , the RNS landed and the sp has settled back to here!! I cannot think it through , it's like buying free money , something doesn't look right here.

If the divi is above the SP. If it were to be the market would certainly have caught wind of it and the SP would have, imho , rerated to near the mark by now. We all know how these markets work , and it hasn't happened.
I would suggest a divi of between 13 and 26p , which is massive in the context of the stock price. A divi of 26p gives a holder a 100% return if they even bought in today.

I do agree that Solg couldn't possibly be taken out cheaply , indeed a bidding war would ensue. ut but but ...in a scenario where BHP and NCM own 30% between them , ?.. well no because NM owns 20% via DCP. As Quady used to say , it's a diverse book , it can't happen.
So basically it's production or takeover or JV....it's a boring wait.

If you look at the price of some of the trades it's obvious the sp is being driven down falsely. As much as it stinks and is a bit depressing , especially on a Monday , take heart in the knowledge it's not news driven , it will bounce back just as quick.

Lol CD , I told you I had taken notice of your predictions and yes I have placed my full 1k holding at £1.10. The 5.5k @ 55p must be Novices.

That we have 55 years supply in just one prospect , never mind the others coming on stream.
