Terrace , i am sure you would prefer i didnt re-write the whole Brexit laden script. However it would , even with my mere 2 English1970's o levels , be easy to present a positive update on Telfords successful 2018/2019 campaign.
"i cant cope" moved 30% of my holding here into oil in recent months....just read todays dailymail market report also questioning wording in tef trading update "90 homes to sell for 50 mill profit" and Steffy bangs on about Brexit....what an own goal
Totally agree James. Makes you wonder about Steffy agenda.
Ok Sain , but i would rather see him be a little more shareholder friendly with respect to his trade update. Not withstanding the increase in interim divi
Would like to know who is selling to effect this drop.
Circa £4.30 to £3.40 in a matter of days. The big fall yesterday before update today. All orchestrated , this is AIM.
agree James , the tone seems uneccesary particularly in the short term. I am sick of hearing it but , "a good buying opportunity"
Was not anticipating this share price reaction..oh well back to the drawing board
What is not to like , although as ever success story delivered in such an understated manner
big blue day tomorrow ?
ok Terrace , i will try
Need to trade a percentage of ones holding on this share.
We know it well enough.....up and down up and DOWN
Difficult Terrace to disagree with USA Favs !
Europe will possibly be weakened by out of form Garcia & Stenson , balanced by USA's out of form Phil Mick.
Home advantage worth half a point , so put your $$ on the tie ...14-14
Off to Paris on Thursday for my 7th Ryder Cup.
The 1 Euro project i can support. I would of voted remain if there was any prospect of GB going it alone in the future versus the Yanks. One of the great Sporting Events to go and see.
Daily Mail... UK's biggest selling paper !!
Landlords have had a great 10 years even those with mortgages have seen interest rates at nil. My point is the new tax regime will encourage landlords to sell and or increase rents. Both actions will lead to increased costs for tenants.
I have a number of buy to let props. As tenants leave , i sell.
& buy shares in TEF wth the capital , possibly.
Impact of George Gideon Osborne policy is that tenants pay higher rent as Landlords attempt to minimise tax hike impact.
Had enough of negativity around Landlords too ! Completely counter to my own experiences.
For Example
I have a Mr & Mrs in their 70s who wish to remain in my property for the foreseeable future.
Long term
I would rather they left so i can sell. They are unable to pay fair market value rent.
So this Landlord allows them to stay put. Well do i really give them a months Notice !!??
EX - that is what i attempted to say yest pm ! Those that have traded (& there must be some serious money trading this AIM share and of course contributing to the many peaks and troughs ) will have reaped the rewards.I too question the "i wont sell over my dead body attitude," although it would be painful to miss out on that "giant leap" that has to date eluded TEF and its loyal band of followers.
Does the board not consider that there are "trading" shareholders who are in and out of this share like a fiddlers elbow.
It is after all , about returning a profit not necessarily getting it right over decades !!
such as an RNS discussing a BTR deal , much mused on here over the past months , feels like longer.
Not moaning though , nor selling. Get my business year out of the way and would consider adding before the Oct statement.
Fromm Tef..despite the noise.
Maybe events are developing
