Great RNS - so confident on this one Target numbers sound like they will be smashed, already at last count 77,000 users in August, so should be hitting 100,000 by end of this year not next with growth in OZ at >1,000 per month plus whatever the number elsewhere. Though reading the pro-active investors report I hope their number is correct !! Copied below .... "Satellite has long talked about hitting the 1mln customers milestone by the end of its next financial year, although it now expects this to happen a little faster than even it had first hoped."

Fastest-ever superfast satellite broadband arrives in Scotland Superfast 30Mb satellite broadband now offers 100% coverage across the country Superfast satellite broadband with speeds up to 30Mbps – the fastest-ever service commercially available in the UK – has been launched across the whole of Scotland thanks to a partnership between Avonline Broadband [the wholly owned subsidiary of SAT] and satellite provider Avanti Communications Group. Mark Wynn, managing director of Avonline, said: “For the many homes and businesses in the county still waiting for superfast broadband, this new superfast satellite broadband service, delivering up to 30Mb download speeds is available immediately. “It provides a superfast service in rural areas where people have literally been waiting years for an upgrade. We can now deliver this service to any part of the country with installation typically just a week or two from order.” Rather than use an underground copper/fibre network like BT, satellite broadband operates by sending and receiving a two-way broadband signal to a satellite about 22,000 miles in space. Because the satellite sits high up in space, it can provide equal quality of coverage to every home or business in the UK. Wynn added: “For many in rural Scotland superfast satellite broadband will be their only way of getting really fast reliable broadband in the immediate future, Over the past 12 months we have run a very successful pilot scheme in three counties backed by DCMS and I am delighted that we can now offer these brand new services to anyone that needs them.” A range of Avonline superfast satellite broadband packages are available immediately and, because satellite broadband doesn’t need a phone line, customers could also save on line rental charges if they don’t need a fixed line phone. Currently in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, there are government voucher schemes for rural locations. To overcome this in Scotland where there is no voucher scheme at present, Avonline says it’s keen to work with local communities and groups in Scotland to offer multiple systems at significant discounts to overcome this issue. Families and businesses in rural Scottish communities continue to be frustrated by slow or non-existent broadband services and continued inability to deliver fibre to the most isolated locations. Fast, reliable satellite broadband based on the latest British technology, such as the new service that has been launched, has 100% coverage of the country and is affordable and available to those communities now. Benefits to families include improved access to online services, greater convenience and enriched education for their children. Benefits for small businesses include improved productivity, better communications and increase profitability. Recent research highlighted that 75% of UK small businesses believe that broadband is vital to their businesses, with individ
Thanks Matis. Great company going full steam in the right direction. I see the Australian Gov launched and new Satellite and that will allow more capacity hence more users for sky mesh (SAT Oz Co) to mop up.
You do have to give some credit to these guys, by just on the performance of the company and share price but at ever opportunity out of a closed period they buy a decent amount of shares and they hold a fair bit of the Co between them. Pretty strong signal.
about time this got a re-rating, Has so much upside.

SAT were one of 4 Cos presenting at a Hardman and Co evening . Plenty of confidence about beating targets , cash positive each month and that was before recent acquisitions. Organic growth is naturally occurring. They've all the back office platform/kit in place to run this very efficiently across all countries they operate in and can easily plug others in, which I suppose comes from previous experiences of growth companies they've worked at as start ups like Carphone warehouse and other telecom which were start ups. Quite an excellent company run by people knowing how to do this . Very happy
Great reading the interims, everything fills you with complete comfort. They're keeping their 100,000 users target by end of 2017 which they'll smash, you'd expect that done this year now with nearly 80,000 current users, i wonder what there new internal target is?
Good glad thats all wrapped up in super quick time, on to the next acquistion deal please lads. Scale scale scale. Plug those users in and invoice away.
Can see loads of PR coming in the press tomorrow and over the weekend, as this is big big news. BGF don't go around lending £12m willy nilly > Gives the company a good bill of health and they must see plenty of opportunities. Be good to know what SAT turnover is per month (pre this acq) , anyone know?
Did a fair bit of research on the BGF after their first loan to SAT. Most companies they invest in are private , so hard to judge performance by Victoria carpets which was listed the share price grew at a rate
and looks as if more are joining judging by all the buys coming in ...............
I'm here , been to busy buying stock to chat. Seems cheap on the basis of nothing has changed , surely all good stuff if infrastructure companies hold off investing in laying cable = more sat users.
