A lot has been invested in AML, going forward costs will be lower.

The brand is good. The products are good.

They just need to balance the books on future production.

The headwinds are challenging though, they need a bit of help in this respect.

I do still belive it will come good in the end.

That is down to the product rather than senior management though.

You could say the Euro distribution business was a bargain and the income from selling 51% wise.

However, the impression they are treating investors money like their own income fund remains.

How many hours they spend working and how many on the golf course would be telling.

This is yet another reason I think a buyout will happen, the product and market size will be too attractive to a bigger player.

On the 2035 ban they are actually now considering hybrids.

You have to feel for all manufactures as it is endless uncertainty.

The sensible thing would just be sliding targets and leave the manufactures to come up with solutions to achieve them.

However, I'd dispute the politics being a non issue. In the past yes, now no.

This signals a new low down into the 18000s

If the momentum continues down it could end up in the 17000s

Next week is looking important, either it takes a bounce or the US are in difficulties. If they do not soften the tariffs a shock is looking more likely.

I would dearly love to see AML turn a profit, that though is different to an investor making a profit.

At the risk of keep repeating myself, all you need to do is sell at a higher price than you bought.

In this respect AML has provided great opportunity over the last 12m.

Returning to AML,

Buying at this price could make you a fat profit.

I think it needs a catalyst though.

A trade agreement with the US would do that.

Or a turn around in China / Europe's growth.

All are possible, in the meantime though they need a survival plan.

To clarify, I am anything but woke.

I belive in fairness, a concept that seems to be lost in current leadership in most countries.

The leaders we need should work for the good of all the people they are supposed to represent.

They should understand right from wrong.

They should respect other countries borders.

They should tell the truth

They should not be in the job for self interest and financial gain over and above salary provided.

They should respect peoples opinions so long as those do not breach local law.

It is not the people who start conflicts but they are the ones who pay the price.
