Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Capacity has increased to 20,000 for in house testing since December. Although capacity to produce the tests are significantly higher.
I don't expect YGEN to land UK government contracts. Covid contracts will most likely be abroad. If you listen to LRs most recent TU he briefly mentioned upcoming covid tie ups to be finalised soon. Dan has hinted this may land sooner than expected.
NIPT and DPYD products are future money makers imo. These products will provide a significant increase in revenue stream over the coming years. We just need to get back to some sort of normality and then news flow will progressively increase.
I agree, enjoy.
Guys, sometimes you just don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Not to be blunt but anyone who is motivated and willing to see the value here as laid out by LR in 2018 should know that the med to long term plan was to start and bare fruit in 2021 through to 2022 for investors. We no longer need to look too far down the pipe, it appears to me that we have arrived and we should allow it to run it's course and embrace the coming value. I also welcome all the new arrivals and the enthusiasm that they bring, it's been much needed. As a veteran trader I'm inclined to allow that enthusiasm to be displayed without intervention. Embrace it.
It's been a great week. I'm blue again, a happy blue :)
Now for those pesky profits that wait us . BMD reckons 200 to 300% on the back of these contracts.
Lets hope they land safely and with the reported numbers attached as per BMD's article.
Can never have enough positive vibes on this board. Double posts welcome Ash lol
Going great guns today. Very pleasing.
Sweet, we move on :)
Twix,
chill, we agreed to let bygones be bygones. Lets not drag it in to the open again.
I'm good and was just making the point that LR is not the past and therefor we should move on from using the past as an indicator as it's a flawed approach in this instance.
Not point picking the bones ever every idiocrissy with regards to the business. The big points were covered today and if there was something in there that wasn't to your liking or anyone else's then it's time to consider moving on imo because the presentation was on point. It puts a lot in to perspective and gives us a base to move forth on. I'm more than happy and very bullish.
Twix,
I'm in now way looking to start an argument. Just making a valid observation.
This "track record" you mention is not owned by Lyn rees. I think that's the y key here.
If you could see you way around that fact it might actually allow a more positive view on where we are.
The bottom line here is this company is primed for huge growth as soon as the economy is opened up.
I would assume at that point the company would be very cash generative alleviating any concerns of further find raising which imo I don't think will happen till we are much higher in price.
The past may serve as an indicator to the future. So, If we base it on that then Lyn rees was not here during the darkest days and was infarct brought in to turn things around. So the only past that can be applied where LR is concerned is his success at BBI group where he transformed them in his time. I assume it's that success that got him the CEO position with Ygen and so based on that the odds are in his favour of carrying that same transformation here with us,
Ash
spot on, I've always trusted LR and never thought for one minute he's trying to be evasive. He's just more robust and concerned with getting the work done rather than talking about it. Some want to have the sharing and caring approach but seasoned investors are happy ti pick out the important bullet point and then let the company do the rest.
I like LR and think he's going to make us all very well off.
Genuine CEO gives genuine update. Very happy with this update and as expected LR was able to mitigate against the revised numbers for the eoy. All fair imo
Big growth to come in the US, NIPT testing approved and covered by insurers.
VP for North US starting in March
Strategy holds and still viable and strong
Additional partnerships for covid products to be announced
First licensing deal through newly acquired costal genomics close to completion
Opportunity greater than pre covid analysis showed.
All looking good on those points alone.
Colsoul,
it should also tell you a lot about how much I invest. £50k in the red can quickly turn round to a £150k in the black depending on what you hold and the amount you are holding. It's only a loss when you sell.
I would be comfortable to put our last 10 years investing history next to each other. I would be confident my results would dwarf yours significantly. That's excluding my property portfolio which is all mortgage free and owned outright.
Not one to brag but I've made more than £50k over the last 7 days from my crypto investments. Just to give you a flavour.
£50k to one man is not the same as £50k to another. I am comfortable to be under water as much as I am comfortable to be many multiples in profit.
Truro
Hear hear!
Flipper, well done on the £50k but really, that's small potatoes mate. I've sat on bigger losses.
As for people around me...don't talk crap. Nobody with any sense would buy on anyone say so on the internet. You're in to the realms of fantasy there.
Keep me filtered, we won't need to tango again. If we do you might get fandangoed lol
Qucidraw.
no probs. I did wonder lol
Flipper we are the same, we are here in the same space. You are no better than me son.
You just think you are lol
pmsl
I bow to your superior knowledge flipper. How much better off are you than me? haha
Pompous doesn't even begin to describe you. Think about this...we are both in the same place :) That's how much better you are. We are both invested in the same thing. Only one of us feels he is superior lol.
Riddle me this chump. What is the impact of you selling and giving us a bit of peace from your long winded, paragraph free drivel?
A happy BB lol
Some analysis as requested.
Quickdraw
Your man's numbers are wrong. Mcap of Ygen is £89m
I think your man needs to learn the difference between shares in issue and Mcap.
Ygen shares in issue 721 mill
Contrary to beliefs spouted by chubes on this board I am not a ramper.
Never ramped the stock, only rebuff fools who cry about their financial position. I don't need to try harder, you do. For all your long winded posts and pompous attitude you;re no better off than I am here.
How did that happen?
Cause you are simply no better, a better man would sit tight or sell up without the whimper of the wounded animal you act like.
let's face facts. The price is down, the projections for year end are down. What are you going to do about it?
The same as me. NOTHING!
I don't need to do anything. My money is invested and I will sit tight without mumping my gums.
You on the other hand, you need to calm down, stop trying to get everyone on a downer because you can only see it ending one way. A downer because you are losing money and you regret your decisions.
I've sat on losses a number of times and had them come back round. That can happen,
That's not scientific analysis, that's just a fact. What good has your scientific analysis done you with Ygen?
Point proven....try the buy and hold approach! preferably without moaning or set them golden tickets loose.
