cant see how they can force banks to ,with all the warnings that pop up before you press pay,not sure what lloyds do but my main every day bank barclays ,you have a list of regulars ,and if you want to pay some one new they want the inside leg measurement and big warning pops up to make you aware , so when are the general public going to take it on the chin that they have been silly and not rely on being bailed out sorry folks grow up bad as ppi which was QE under a cloak most knew when they signed what they were signing all they wanted the MONEY and didnt care what they signed up too,lets put it another way out of all my loans etc etc i didnt get 1 cent of ppi compo cos i read the small print,nanny state were all DOOMED, have a nice day ,well that coffee break over

88 belive it or not i have just opened a 1 year flexy isa with barclays 4% so i have 30 days to decide as and when or not to transfer in ,most savings already invested but i was hanging on to see if rates would jump back up as late last year , i got a 1year 3.85% with virgin ,two weeks later not available ,same story with others sadly lloyds only have my shares money and a debit account with very little in it , mainly because lloyds rates are tish and thats an anagram

with the interest on savings going up and back down over the last few months , are we likely to see rates rise again on bonds or isas after yesterdays rise to 4 % on the base rate ?
