Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
I waited all week for this, the presentation unfortunately did nothing to reinforce the share price. I have to say that for the two major members of the board to be up and presenting, they looked like two nervous schoolboys who had no control or order.
I am going to have to cut my losses on this one....... Not at all sure how this is going to pan out, but a terrible shame and a lot of people were waiting for his tweet to come to life and it just fizzled into nothing.
Today there was also a story in the local mallorca papers, that an Amercian company is also interested in recruiting staff world wide.

There are still a lot of stories being released here daily and the amount of companies and people affected is still being counted.
No doubt this is the same in every other destintation.
Signed and sent :)
As you can imagine, Mallorca as well as Spain, has been hit badly with the TC demise as they had a large number of hotels in 100% guarantee and had actually rented out hotels with direct contracts for local suppliers. A small local family bakery has been left owing over 23.000€ another butcher 60.000€
However the stories that are hitting the headlines here are not getting any sympathy or making it any easier to forget.
You will need Google translate for this one, but basically today headlines are that management cleared out the cash from the hotels that that they have rented on the Friday, someone somewhere is sitting on a very bumpy matteress.

There have been crisis meetings set up since this all happened but the local hoteliers as well as all the suppliers are not happy and want some legal advice , they also want answers from the top .... There again don't we all :)
This was on the German Web Page....

Looks like it is all over.... Sorry to see this happen.
Just listening to SMOOTH radio and Thomas Cook have just run an ad advertising their cruises and services... Fair play they are not playing to the press and continuing to advertise as well and take bookings.
I have to say that the silence is more annoying from their side than reading the scaremonger stories in the news. This is when a crystal ball would come in a tad handy :)
I very much doubt that Sunday is D Day as being forecast in the press, but unless they hurry up and make a statement they are really going to have more problems on their hands than they can deal with. Holidays will not be booked, flights will not be booked and of course if anyone owes them money they will think twice about paying it so quickly. I really do feel sorry for the staff as they are in limbo as to their future if they have one, if Fosun continue, which looks fairly real, they are getting a bargain but at the same time, they are going to have to invest a lot of time and money reassuring the public that there is indeed a future after Sunday!
Already on all major news platforms, it is anyones guess what is going on behind the scenes, but I think that it is about time that PF comes out and faced the music and the questions or better still announces his departure.
This is true, surely if there was even the smallest doubt, trading would have been suspended by now?
Well said, it always seems to be the same few having a go and making sarcastic comments, they also know who they are , you can tell by the defensive replies that fly back and forth...........
It is a shame that over the last week or so, this board has unfortunately gone downhill, I used to look forward to reading the posts, eager to hear peoples opinion, stories and of course take advantage of the more experienced SH's who were willing to partipate and guide us with their knowledge. I have noticed that various posters have now taken a quiet stand back and are letting the rest particiapate in their ongoing trolling arguments and sometimes rather ridiculous accusations. I am sure that I will upset a few of you but this is worse than a childrens playground at time. My main concern is that my investment is still standing and viable not whether someone else is being ripped apart becuase they have made a typing error or because they have woken up with Mystic Meg's talented powers of providing the winning numbers in the local raffle. Deep down I am sure that more than one of you will agree with me and perhaps we can get back to looking after each others intersts instead of scoring points. With that I wish you all a nice weekend and look forward to seeing some useful posts on Monday :)
At last someone with a sense of humor :)
You know what.... Sod it :), the worst that can happen is I lose my savings.... I bought in already in the mindset that I could be making a foolish mistake, close family members followed and bought in. We all wait now with baited breath..... If we manage to walk away smiling ( for the 2nd time, first invested in 2012) then I will be of course be extreamley happy.... but as Bigwigs as quite rightly pointed out, IF YOU ARE NOT IN IT, YOU CAN'T WIN IT :) Good luck everyone and have a super weekend...... Currently sunbathing in Mallorca 35º degrees and loving every moment :)
Could you re-post the link to the video, I have tried and it says that it is not available.
Thank you
No, the advert has been running for over a week on the TV and a couple on radio and has made no difference. Nothing will assist the SP now until Sept or when the BOD decide to share their boardroom talks with us.
Interesting arcticle and about the only one that actually focuses on the SH ....
Yes, rather nasty to say the least.... Why would you wish such bad luck on people that you have never met or don't even know....
Why don't you keep to the topic in question TCG and leave the other comments for your mates down the pub.....
Just thought I would take a look at the TCG website and came across this statement on the Corporate Governance section.......... looks liks PF and the rest of the umpa lumpas forgot that this statement.....
