Not always the case. There's some value in modernisation but that depreciates and needs to compliment other key factors that make the "Fixed assets" value add.

Stokey, my point is that people need to make their minds up on what they think the Caverns are currently for. They're for Gas today. I don't disagree that if they can change the scope and plan they can pivot to Hydrogen but that's not a simple journey by a long shot, or guaranteed, or cheap. There are more attractive options strategically and commercially elsewhere. The commercial framework for Hydrogen is at least 2-3 years away at best. You're talking 7-10 years if this is even moved forward.

At least he has the brain power to debate Bubble. Stick to TDF as your single source of the truth, you'll go far.......

I don't insist, that's a well documented fact. All permissions ( that they have which are not many ) are for Gas Storage, go read them??, you can't just flip the switch because it suits the narrative. You're also forgetting Woodys alleged commercial model is based on Gas Storage.
