Stokey,
Capital continues to flow into the EU&R sectors as investors place bets on the importance of the energy transition in society achieving its net zero goals. There is significant interest from broader capital pools, directing funds to M&A and into greenfield and brownfield projects. With capital likely to flow away from assets that are not compatible with a net zero transition and toward opportunities that are, some subsectors may inevitably struggle to secure necessary financing.
In these situations, companies with the strongest balance sheets will be well positioned to take advantage of potential deals and the opportunity to create value.
Merger and Acquisitions by the big boys will play a huge part.
JW entire ( Proposed) business model was based on Gas. Any planning or whatever menial permission he has, is for gas. It's like playing a broken record. Nobody will invest in IM and then spend a fortune to transition to Hydrogen before there is even a framework or commercial model to use to secure any type of funding interest. Sadly everyone in here for the best part is looking at it through rose tinted glasses and just making their own minds up in "What may / could / can" happen, it's beyond hilarious that people who do that call themselves serious investors when the actual data tells anyone that IM isn't a good investment opportunity for either Gas or Hydrogen ( At this stage ).
It's a hole in the ground with some planning permission.
Commercial car crash.
Carry on dreaming.
