Pre IND engagement should reduce regulatory risk.
Once HEMO has obtained IND approval it will conduct a Phase 1/2 trial with the aim of generating safety and preliminary efficacy data. The trial aims to recruit patients with FLT3 positive relapsed or refractory AML who are qualified for bone marrow transplantation.
The initiation of this trial would be a key milestone for HEMO marking the transition from a preclinical to a clinical company. We expect positive data from this trial to be of significant interest to potential partners. Multiple deals in the space have been driven by assets at Phase 1..For example Gilead struck an agreement with Appia Bio worth up to $875m to develop CAR T cell therapies…

Very happy to be picking these up at sub 1.5p to lower the average.
If we are still at these levels in to the Autumn then that would be disappointing but the very strong indications are we wont be - this is exciting - where will CBR take HEMO....
Limited risk with such a relatively low mcap.

For clarity JD I was merely agreeing that the market cap makes no sense given the recent reported developments and also when compared to where it has been in the past (it is a theme I have touched on before). Im not professing to be an expert here, far from it, so welcome insight from the more learned posters.

thanks JHFH - simplistic view perhaps but one of the reasons why I think this is a safe investment from this low base - HEMO was pushing £70m MCAP without any of the significant news we have received since December. I feel we should be at least that MCAP now.

I fully appreciate many LTHs are hurting and the response to what was a very strong RNS is disappointing. Maybe the herd want something just a bit more tangible.
However Im thinking this pain cannot last too much longer - we will shortly obtain IND approval for CAR T following which HEMO can conduct Phase 1/2 trials - this is when things will get really interesting. Positive data will generate significant interest.

The potential here appears significant?
What are the major risks - the Mali government dont play ball? capital funding is not secured? (world conflict?)
If the spod. price is c$3,000 and cost $466/ton this could be making over $2,500 gross per ton - multiply by the declared 220,000 tonnes mined pa equates to $550m gross profit p.a. and yet this is currently valued sub £40m.
I feel like Im missing something...

From what I gather Kodal need to secure capital finance to develop the southern Mali mine.
What is the latest capital estimate for mine build - your calcs would suggest c.$115m only - is that correct? - you would like to think investment would be readily secured at that number?

Im genuinely curious why you unhappy about HEMO Sscc?
Appreciate ones entry point may have a significant bearing but the RNSs through Dec., Jan. + Feb. have been strong.
If full IND application not submitted within 4 months then perhaps I would understand...

yes Brew - if 'matters' can be 'resolved' satisfactorily through ongoing comms then the pre-IND meet may not be necessary.
With a fair wind can the full IND filing be made before May...
