Thanks for the heads up I managed to sell and buy back 20k non ISA shares for a cost of £42, happy days!

I think that you are being a little unfair as everything is easy with the benefit if hindsight? You for whatever reason and I don’t begrudge you, find yourself in a fortunate/clever/lucky position so it’s easy for you to make unfair assumptions such as religious cult if you like. I never envisaged for one iota that I would be here for this long, but here I am anyway! If I were in your shoes I would probably be more low key or modest and not ‘rub’ your position in other people’s faces? But that’s just me, I don’t like to make other feel jealous or bad about anything!

That’s the kind of decisions that have caused me to be in the red for most of the time I’ve been here. A mixture of greed, FOMO and dare I say it a sense of entitlement after being loyal, which is a totally emotive reaction!

Hindsight along with naivety are interesting bed fellows ‘broomtree’. I know I’ve made all the textbook investing mistakes here. I bought all the way up to £2 and when we hit the low 20’s a few years ago. Yet I still find myself circa 50% adrift after chucking in over six figures! I’ve always held myself accountable and only vented my frustration here.

At this stage £0.50p seems like a mirage/fantasy!

Needless to say I hope you’re correct ’Mclecky2266’, but I wouldn’t hold your breath on it!

Just don’t make any more predictions on where the SP will be anytime soon, as your track record sucks and you’re banished to the naughty step indefinitely! ;-)

Without wishing to let this BB degenerate into a similar scenario to another one, I find it hard to disagree with your comments ‘cegamer’. I have nearly double your sentence served and based on the current price am well adrift of break even! I sincerely hope we PI’s don’t somehow get ****wed over! BWTFDIK!

If truth be told my investment strategy is clearly ‘**ss poor’ as evidenced by my poor average SP of circa £0.50p. I averaged down quite heavily when we were in the £0.20’s some years ago, when my average was £1.67p or something equally crazy! I couldn’t in all good conscience bring myself to add at the recent opportunity, as at that stage I was already over six figures down!!

I would like to get out with my stake at a minimum as that would potentially allow my wife who is hopefully recovering from a very serious illness to reduce her working hours or retire. It would be totally selfish and irresponsible for me to put in any more money.
