Mike drop .....
So see they the deal valued camaby at 25m USD minum at this point with is
10m of SYN costs
2..5m GOI payment
All doubled as this is for 50% of the Asset.
It takes no account of the other value in the business or the profit the new parnter is hoping to make.
this vlaues Cambay at about .2p now a share.
Then there is the bonus payments but they should be discounted down and they are risky, but with those 9m USD again doubled you get 18m USD or .15p so the valution of Camaby is in the range of .20 to .35p per share for this deal.
I think i did the right thing to exit at this point as i can not wait for the growth further down the line as i am retireing and am looking for high didvdend shares going forward. So there is a whole person element in my exit that would not effect the majoirty.
Its still a good deal, if it all goes well enough it will unlock Cambay and make Cambay worth much more than the 25m current value they are giving it. Hence the extra $9m of potential sucess payments.
There is still lots of future cheese if it works out.
All gone I am out.
I also made a mistake in my valuation earlier as Eligance has done the same, you need to 1/2 the 20m USD for the valution of Cambay as the new compnay would own 50% so would have paid 10m USD anyway of the costs and 20m USD is the total costs with SYN owning 100%.
I only realised this evening, so the low asset value for Cambay is .22p a share based the reaining 50% on the deal.
In short they valued Cambay at 25m USD in total as they are paying 12.5m USD for 50%, the rest is bonues and future etc ....
I did the same calaution Eligance early today and came to the same figures as you but realised i made a mistake this evening.
The 20m needs halfing as they would own 50% so they are not carrying $20usd of SYN costs becuse as 50% holder they would have paid $10m USD of those costs anyway.
It knocks .1p off you low calcuation making 0.22 the low value now, i came out at .32p ealier as i have the same error as you.
Good luck all.
I was not ramping once I decied too or started selling....
I was expecting a much bigger rise, but decided to stop slice a bit and as it slow and then saw the liquidly issues already so just went for it as quick as they would take them.
I been here very long time 10 yeqars maybe, and am one the few who has made money out of this share about £100k profit including todays. I never expected to be in so long this time around, the dealys in India are too much to take!
I honestly wish you all the best and hope it works out.
85m shares sold for about £20k profit, not as much as i would have liked or even expected, but this share lacks liquidity for large quanities, there might not be another large sell oppotunity for years and i have hit my retirement portfolio traget with its recovery and rise today, so i need to derisk and move into different high dividend shares.
With 85m shares dumped I suspect I played a part in killing the rise today., sorry.
Good luck everyone and thanks for all the fish as they say.
