The prices have been anything but static , they have slowly gone up for sometime. I buy every 2-3 months and I have been keeping an eye out for last 4 weeks, I agree about 60% but I haven't seen it unfortunately this time. They didn't keep prices static, they kept prices down. I also am not saying it's a bad thing, just pointing out that in my view prices are still historically high for whey bags, considering whey has gone down. I am hoping they are just making some good margins, although I would like cheaper protein :p.

I said I had ever noticed, that would be an opinion. A few months ago / recently it was maybe averaging maybe high £40's and occasional £45, now it's low £50's with £55 being fairly common on discount with 2.5kg bags.

Talking about whey price, I havnt looked at how long or if they lock in prices of whey in advance, but MY Protein whey is the most expensive generally atm that I have ever noticed , on average when you factor in discounts.

I suppose that with obesity and overweight statistics seemingly increasing and most of the population getting tubby, if the cost of living doesn't sort it out ( which I doubt) It seems like some western diets are not great and I think it's 65% of people in UK are now over weight. Maybe they are not looking at it as just whey protein supplement, they do a lot of products, I get the feeling it's about healthier eating. Eating all that rubbish, but with healthier macros is where they are pushing it? I read or someone posted something recently which showed that those over a certain age group were also eating less proteins than they should, which was compounding their old age problems.

Unhooked I think you are making a mistake and applying all your negative feeling of Matt to everything that happens, it seems that some of got stuck behind his ego that they hate. As others have said this would have passed the board or whatever, so I try and view it in a border sense and I think what either manc or Matty said is a fair reason for the purchase

People selling just because it didn't contain MBO stuff just doesn't make any sense. We knew this was happening, and they seem to maybe be changing approach to RNS.

It's like a company has a delivery your told it will happen, just not sure when. Then you decide they have a secret hidden delivery, your absolutely sure it will happen but no idea when..the company tells you the real delivery has happened, so you throw out your toys because the secret one in your head hasn't been talked about.

If anyone sold because of that, better out imo.
