Right, the change vs. 2 weeks ago is the Mestiza infill drilling.
True however that the corporate presentations have - over a long period - made no obvious contribution to anything....yet.
Utterly inconceivable that the company’s management is dragging its heels. Especially one overall so experienced and well connected.
Still frustrating absence of clarity: “production in 24 months vs. “Production in 2021”.
Or put another way “base case” vs “proposal”.
Hopefully it all comes together shortly.
I think I traced through Para / Soma etc.
Could very well be wrong.
I could be remembering wrongly, but I thought when I followed the chain about of month ago of NMC/Randy Martin and his various activities, there was a holding in a milling operation in Guatemala.
Thanks goneawol, thanks J'n'M, and all posters who put up links of relevant items from the web.
This BW link from goneawol, I'd say is the best of all interviews MC has given. Very slightly more focused questions from the interviewer and consequently slightly better and more precise answers from MC.
There is a need to perform and agree upon analyses of structural integrity of things like mill shell and heads (need real expertise, doesn’t happen overnight), responsibility for shipping, any damage incurred, insurance etc [things do fall off flatbed trucks)...and these are the details that need to be addressed as part of the contract that MC mentioned Is being agreed. It’s why a deal can fall through and why we have Chinese backup options.
Installation costs for CNR I mean, not operating costs obviously.
I’ve operated and optimised mills and crushers over the last 20 years. They are very simple, well understood, basic to maintain pieces of equipment with lifetimes of sometimes 100 years. My last plant had 70 year old mills, 90% reliability, no problems. So no issues with second hand equipment. The costs are mostly on the civil, engineering, transport side rather than the equipment itself.
AF, you have the inside track better then me so you're probably right. Either way, news coming up like you've said previously.
CNR today is pretty much in line with other goldies as has been said.
I think a reasonable chance of an RNS after close and before the webinar.
{the toll mining I mean}. And I tend to feel we’ll hear about it this evening.
I think Awax is in the money regarding today’s action.
Yeah, it’s obvious IMO.

Interesting video. From around 11 minutes for Libertad, if that is where we happen to end up sending our material. Nice view of the mills, only one of which running at the time of filming, Feb 2020.
Was reading about NMC / Para / Soma / Randy Martin. That’s a rats nest of companies and dealings. Surely it is from that connection / group of operations that we’ll be getting our first mill.
Meanwhile, gold futures 2070...
...fuel, admin, maintenance....
It’d be jobs, earlier. Mobile equipment operators, security, trucking...
It’s possible tester that an agreement was made a while ago, just waiting for jabali for it to make sense to start the mill. I don’t have a good feel for how long it takes to get the mobile equipment in and start scraping, but it shouldn’t be 3 months. Again, that could have all been organised already.
