Got to hold my hands up I called this one wrong I thought we would be much higher by now with all the builders being back at work for some time but I didn't look hard enough at the debt and that cover has hit much harder than I thought....now I have no idea which way this will go....probably higher over time....question is how much time....there are better opportunities else where for now ...GLA....on a side note this is a well run company caught up in an unavoidable situation....

Yes seems a bit AR**E about face...surly you release the RNS with the great update first and then do the placing? or am I not understanding what's going on?

looks to me like a lot of buying going on with no move in the SP sounds like the seller is still lurking in the background.....time will remove this problem it can't go on for ever.....

as the realisation hits home and that you can not get diddly squat in cash, this will grind higher....some were waiting to bail and it will be volatile for a while but this will grind higher over the next few weeks

I have now had a good look at results and yes the dividend was very important as folks were waiting in the margins for this news ....but just as importantly those results given the circumstances were very good...I dont see £4.00 any time soon but I do now expect a grind towards that number starting today....

Although not a great RNS nothing was really held back and we were expecting this as we were warned a few times but we are far from over... as some allude to we are valued less than our cash and then you have assets on top.....still madness really ...regardless this is still very undervalued risky ? yes of course but that is now fully expressed in the SP and then some....

This was pretty much expected so not really new news however I do expected some drop but then a jump back to about where we are now ... we shall see soon enough

Need to read those results in more detail but on reflection they look very good and more importantly THE DIVIDEND after all they why folks invest in AVIVA.......

although I do think we may well see a second wave I think Unilever will go higher regardless as the P/E circa 19 is much lower than its piers and I believe that's purely a European play with similar companies on P/Es of circa 25 we have a lot of catching up to do....so thats basically my reasoning and like I have said I think we could see a 5 infant of our number before Xmas.

pure speculation .....but I do feel the Q2 update will be here sometime this morning....not sure it will be 7am but my crystal ball definitely is showing this morning...regardless I do feel that we have turned a corner and there is a definite change in buying activity.....

How high can we go before ex-divi ? well I could see £1.80 quite easily and probably more ....I think the divi is about 9p with the back dated one....has to be a strong buy from here ....

ex-divi tomorrow....but regardless I expect to see a 5 at the start of the SP over the next few weeks this is still cheap when compared to its piers and sector come to that still a strong buy from here....

Yes I must say that RNS was better than I expected.....however I never doubted AV on that score.....

Been thinking about this...and although I still like the prospects an business model I do now feel there is a trust issue with the board especially after what AV said only recently.....maybe I didn't understand fully what he said, regardless I feel this will knock some investors confidence....I am holding for now.....

If I didn't know better I would say something smells very fishy SP been rising recently then we get a placement at 2.1p at 25% discount..... and guess what the SP is back to 2.1p.....

Viscofan are a great company an we could and probably are learning a lot from them.....they are a much bigger entity but I still think at these levels Devro has more potential in fact a lot more potential we have an M/C of circa 270m Viscofan is circa 3B and I believe we will take market share from them our P/E is only about 10 so plenty of upside there....Devro have a lot of work to do starting with reducing debt in my opinion but as I say the market for casings and there products is huge so for now I stick with Devro.....but a good debate all the same.

Couldn't agree more PR is probably one of our weak points......

I doubt we will see a rights issue anytime soon....certainly not with all them Director buys..... they are not that stupid.....

I am also inclined to agree that something is very fishy....although I do not buy into some of the conspiracy theories banded about, I just can not get me head around our M/C of circa 130M it just does not add up with the purchases we made last year and to that the profit and our advancement even with low V prices the fundamentals are there for all to see.....I am sure it will all come out in the wash, ive been here way too long to give up now (not that length of time matters) I still believe in FM and the company and just as important the business plan/model.
