think the spike was more to do with Aldermore another challenger bank that is being bought and may have lifted VM do we have a buyer in the wings.....i doubt it

I did say very strong buy.....those results were fantastic......still dont know why more notice wasnt taken of them......or is there a buyer in the wings?

yes i see this as a brexit blip this is a great company and the sp will rise again over the coming weeks and months hopefully we have seen the bottom but you never know......

Not a brilliant RNS but not as bad as i expected....this is still a very well run company and now with sofology in the mix I expect we will do very well......

I think your right but although the shorts may not be spooked by this they can clearly see a growth trend and may think about reducing or getting out orderly....cant see them increasing but who knows.....

Not sure how the market will react but I thought that was a great trading update.....and all this being done while retail is way down in most places, this company has great management and are growing, I may well add this morning.

Its been some time since we were at 2.25 I hope this is the start of a nice run and were at 2.50 soon i think this is entirely possible and even higher....along with the divi this is a solid stock to be in.....

I really feel sorry for all the shareholders here although not invested ive kept a kean eye on whats going on and the Indoneasian government are ****you over and I doubt anything will be done about it until international help comes along....good luck

I must have had my head in the sand because i never new we were buying Sofology cant believe i didnt see any news on this......anyway i think its a fantastic aquistion and a great price this should shift the SP.....no mention anywhere of sofology being bought ....did anyone else know....lol im getting paranoid now....

I really rate VM I personally think its the best run challenger bank with great personal at the top I know we have a CEO to replace but can see a big name moving in....I have dropped some of my bigger bank shares and invested in a couple of the challenger banks that I think have fantastic growth potential the first being Virgin and the second and a close second Aldermore....GLA

These results must not be as bad as the market expected because they certainly wasnt good infact i expected at least a 5% drop when i first read them but i suppose now he has the house as he wants it the future is probably better but i still expect a further drop short term.....

how can you produce a report like that with all the ppi put a side loose money and the SP rises....themind boggles...i did put earlier it will probably rise.....

Well that RNSsays it all....but I cant help thinking this is a lot more bad luck than bad management, not sure where they go from here, I only have a small investment but feel if there luck changes this still could be a great company...time will tell however I dont think they have much....

Although I was quite shocked at the SP movement on VM yesterday I bought in again at 278.00 and 282.00 this is a solid growth stock the market has priced for perfection and as far as im concened we was not that far off... ok we need a new CEO but this is a well run company with divi growth, not sure what will happen today but im not too concerned and will sit back and give it a little time, doubt the new broker notes will be damaging and I see us back around £3.00 soon
