Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
A battery back up is completely different from what Mast offers. Yes it could run along side of Masts offering to keep a stable electricity supply however it's a battery & will run down then need to be recharged. How long could it supply power to the grid ? How long would it's life expectancy be ?
I think that there is going to be a lot more need for surge supply as renewables expand & Mast can play a much bigger part than it does at present.
I am surprised that one of the big players in the electric generation field or even the national grid are not looking at buying this company & building on what has already been achieved. It would be a small price for them to pay & would be good way forward to show their commitment to make sure the lights are kept on if the wind isn't blowing & renewables can't supply what is needed.
Looking at this share & the boards responsibilitie to
maximise shareholder value ,the company should be up for sale at a price which would be around double the share price as it stands. However the management are not interested in doing this as they are looking after their income & salaries & not the shareholders interests. Surely this this is the opposite to what they announced in the interim statement where they said they have a responsibility to maximise shareholder value.
Put the company up for sale & it should achieve around £4 per share or probably more. That's the best shareholder value .
Shorters are in & I thank them for given us opportunities like this.
All good for the banks that don't have any equity tied up in the ones that failed. Less banks & the same amount of business should mean more profits.
Sorry typing error.
Evergrande in court 20th March 2023.
Good morning.
Maybe you should take a look at Evergrande & what is happening with them & the Chinese property market.
They are the largest property companie in China.
They are in default with their dept to some billions.
They are trying to restructure as they call it however their debtors aren't having any of it.
They are in court for a winding motion on 20th February 2023 .
Not 100% sure. However I think this would be called bankruptcy.
Think that you are missing something here. The iron ore price is going up however the amount that they are supplying is going down so the amount of money they are receiving & can convert into dividend could be higher or lower.
Think that you nailed it there " bet " being the appropriate word.
Who writes this rubbish.
In November 22 India removed the 50% export tax.
So unless they have reintroduced it you can
hardly say its a country that is reluctant to share.
I really don't see how you get to that share price.
However I suppose there is nothing wrong with being optimistic.
Personally I think there is a correction to around £48 coming.
Profit & divy will be lower than last quarter however as usual it will depend on market sentiment.
Showing fair value & will probably go up today with the iron ore price going up. However it seems like the iron ore price is being driven by market sentiment rather than fundamentals so for me it's try & get the sweet spot today & revisit at a later date.
Good luck to you all the sant rally came good.
Merry Xmas.
Depends if there is a takeover bid. Got to be coming at this price. They keep buying their shares back so they have ammunition to stop one however the change at the top could mean a change of direction.
So £1.20
Or possible downside as they have paid a lot for it.
Let's see Monday. :-)
How are landlords the biggest social & economic disaster?
I have been a landlord for around 26 years. I have tenants that have been with me for 20 years.
You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.
Maybe the wrong saying considering how much chips have gone up :-).
On this share it is a bit of a risk, however there is a lot of interest from creditors to keep it afloat until things get better or they wouldn't be putting more money in. I don't see why they would be doing that unless they think the company has a good future. I keep reading different things about how much they get back if cineworld go bust & essentially they get nothing , however if cineworld gets back to anywhere near the profits they were making pre covid they will be well happy.
Vodafone still don't charge roaming charges in Europe. That is the reason I cancelled my contract with three & changed to Vodafone. This is also the reason they should pick a lot of new business up in the UK as people will won't want to be getting ripped off by other networks.
CFO buying is a big vote of confidence however the shorters will be out if the market drops Monday so could be another buying in opportunity .
Someone said the market looks long term. What a load of rubbish. The market has a knee reaction to any news or fake news. Take a look at cineword. Unsubstantiated rumours of bankruptcy down to 1.8p & then up 6p Friday. Rockhopper doubles in a day !!
The market looks long term?
Marstons are doing all the right things.
Pay your money & take your chance or more like do your homework & ignore the fake news.
Obviously it is up to each investor to make their choice & do their homework on the company.
The share price is very low & could go lower however the fundamentals are pretty good. Gas locked in to 2025 & electric until March 2023. Not many companies are in that position in this sector. So maybe you could get burnt a little with this share or boom when the next results come in or another takeover bid. Probably be a hostile bid as the directors seem to have their heads in the sand about real value.
My thoughts exactly.
Car park was full when I passed at 4.30pm.
Not sure about all this inflation hype. Most commodities are back down to January's levels or below. Oil is off its high & it's just gas that is well up.
Wind , solar & nuclear power don't seem to have gone up although I am sure that the power companies will tell us a different story when they announce the profits. Probably the wrong type of sun or wind !! :-)
Called in yesterday.
Very busy again.
Not as busy as my local earlier. Three deep at the bar however they had a brilliant group on late afternoon.
