And therein lies the whole issue. Anytime placees approach, JC is more than happy to dilute.
It is no way to run a 'world leader' they need to have more confidence in the business, and start running it like a real business. The SP giveaway is a very small part in all of this nonsense.

That sounds very CC plausible. More reason to confirm it now if they did, but as you say, it looks unlikely it happened.

There are serious income figures that need confirming for one.

They will need further funds tonyj. They have proved time and again they cannot function without funding. They have also confirmed they have no intention of running the business as it should be run.

IF the CC share of market ramps up, like some are predicting, the company clearly doesn't have the funds to support such growth. CC simply cannot keep going down the same old road, because that's what they have always done. They need to turn this into a real, viable business. Indeed, on the back of this constant method of funding, I would seriously consider trusting them with a volume order going forward. It undermines all credibility in my opinion, regardless of the insignificant rise in SP.
Had a main player in the sector taken a large holding, I could undertsand their thinking. I am involved in an overseas play that recently had a 10% MC position filled by a well regarded company in its sector. The overnight 4 fold SP rise is still gaining traction.

The market ignore CC for very good reason.

Unless a serious player is building a stake, a bank loan would be the sensible corporate route. We will know what is behind it soon enough.

Genus get no mention, yet with CC inside it appears that is where all the deployments are coming from. It could be EDF are moving at a far quicker pace with other meter co's and solution providers. We only get to hear about the immediate contract detail above CC. At least we can see the top down mechanics on the largest rollout yet. I can only assume ESDS will be taking, or have already taken, lead position in the volume Comms for future contract wins. I've never heard of them, just hoping CC have.
