Tonyj, you mention this 'inhouse agreement with Genus' almost on a daily basis. Would you care to confirm where you got this information, and provide any link to it?
I won't hold my breath.
Timeline is of interest.

CyanConnode Holdings plc (AIM: CYAN), a world leader in narrowband radio frequency (RF) mesh networks, is pleased to announce a significant Letter of Award (LOA) from its partner, the JST Group (JST), for 101,360 Omnimesh Cellular Modules (CNICs). This LOA builds upon the ongoing deployment and previous orders of Omnimesh RF Modules, Gateways, and 206,735 Omnimesh perpetual software licenses, awarded between 2019 and 2021, for a project in Thailand.
The LOA is also the largest received to date for CyanConnode's CNICs, an IPv6 Standards-Based product engineered for seamless integration with CyanConnode's Head-End System (HES). The HES communications architecture enables both RF Mesh and Cellular connections. Deployment of the Omnimesh CNICs will commence in the first quarter of FY25.
John Cronin, Executive Chairman of CyanConnode, commented:
"I am pleased to announce this latest LOA from JST, which not only broadens our engagement in the Thai market but also demonstrates the expansion of our Omnimesh product range to include a standards-based cellular solution. This important development, with a standards-based cellular product, gives our HES both RF and Cellular capability."
Derek Stamp, CEO of JST, commented:
We are pleased with the continued success with CyanConnode on a project in Thailand which has resulted in a groundbreaking product that has met the demands of its deployment environment. JST's partnership with CyanConnode underscores our commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to address the unique challenges and opportunities presented by the Thai market
Unlike CC, at least Adani are open about cancelled contracts.
CC have bad debt on the books, and many late payments in excess of 120 days already. You can't beat a bit of trading with India.
Keep thinking like that tonyj, a position on the CC board cannot be far off. The Circus needs another Clown.
Tonyj, you really should DYOR.
Group accounts are made public. Gross Margin to Dec 2018 was 61%, by March 2023 it had collapsed to 36%.
The impact of this will clearly not help going forward. It has however helped 2 board members receive very nice bonus and salary increases, so all good.
Doh....DYOR
It's widely accepted that very little progress, certainly involving Infrastructure, will be top of anyones agenda rolling into this general election. That concludes by the end of May, it is likely to gain traction afterwards, depending which way the wind blows. Progress since the last election has been woeful at best. I feel H2 this year will be their last chance saloon. All the summits and waffle needs to stop and they just need to get on with it, if they even know the meaning of that.
Hi Vas, appeals against a set aside judgement often take longer than the original case. They are burning money they haven't got. This state is a proven basket case and CC would do well to let them get on with it.
100% 'correct' record bskiny, you missed that word.
The next best case RNS will be to advise that the finance team have secured some grown up funding. Sadly, I believe that is beyond their capability.
Summer 2017 was tonyj's timeline chuffed. No idea why you asked him that one, there's nothing he has got correct so far, but keeps up the wooly predictions almost daily.
That's only £4.50 less than you predicted it would be by now : )
Doh
DYOR
Can you imagine the dilution level if you are correct Vas. I'm hoping for a far more creative finance team in place before this possibility plays out. The current staff would struggle to fund a decent Boot Sale.
India have now taken up a legal policy position. Discoms with little interest in RDSS has left them under performing. These are being highlighted, and monitered, with good chance of prosecutions taking place if they don't get on board. That's the threat anyway.
CyanConnode’s booth has been awarded the Best Stall in the 27-48sqm category in #Distribuelec2024. A testament to our team’s creativity and hard work. We’re thrilled and thankful to Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA) and the organizing team for this recognition. It’s been an incredible experience showcasing our innovative solutions!
Starting the week on a high note! Iskraemeco secured a Croatian smart meter tender with advanced multi-communication capability.
200,000 units.
You really should know by now, JC will be saying nothing on th UK. When nothing comes of the many contracts 'Won' or MoU's or LoI's the JC default is say nothing. They will know very well what is going on here, but why should they report it, although they do have the obligation to do so.
You best ask JC, but you never do!
