Read this on ADVFN : Indian listing to result in significant dilution??? (of no more than 25%!). So no relinquishing of their shares by major shareholders. Do they need the money from new shares? Do they expect present holders to be happy with 'things going well, going to float in India with a resulting major share dilution'? Or am I missing something? Increased share price of say 15% due to Indian flotation may be wiped out by dilution. Or worse if dilution up to 25%. Which is not so good short term.

Aim listed non life insurer Litcomp will release results next Thursday. They are expected to show their third successive year of rising profits. Revenue is expected to be up 160% to £30m and pre tax profits up 45% to £1.6m, year on year. This growth in revenue and profits through the credit crunch/recession has been over-looked by the market imo. Share price - 30p Market cap - £1.8m Shares in issue - 6.4m Cash at hand - £3m The shares have been held back by uncertainty surrounding an outstanding £2.5m convertible bond (due for redemption on October 31st) which will give rise to a potential dilution of 8.2m more shares. Even after taking this into account however, EPS are expected to come in at around 8p (12p forecast for next year). Nigel Wray holds £1m of the convertible bonds, and if he chooses to convert, that should trigger a more suitable rating after a 2 year downtrend imo. The shares have been base forming for the last 6 months.

How this got missed today? From Sept SCSW .... although not cheap on a PE basis, LOK stands at just 40% of its net asset value and commercial property valuations seem to have bottomed. Seems like it's a case of (once bitten twice shy) for us both then! I took some hefty losses when I began too, perhaps it's the hard knocks that we learn the most from? If what you say about the TW board is true then I'm in deep sh*t as I posted negative thoughts there yesterday evening, hardly likely to ingratiate me? I don't believe it's all bad. I just think there's such uncertainty at the moment it's a good idea to look at both sides of the coin and If eminent economists can't agree on where this is all going what hope do we have? My angst stems from the link below re: The US debt problem the the Alt-A etc loans which could total more than $3.8 trillion .....in-fact I wont get started except to add where is the money going to come from? 2010 - 2012 will tell. You mentioning CT7 getting banned, I noticed a*min removed a post of mine from yesterday. Thought police or what? I'm going to take a few weeks out of the market as it's becoming an addiction. hello, Your welcome I'm surprised you found it squirreled away here. After I had written it, it seemed so negative I didn't post it on the board it was meant for. I am genuinely concerned that there will be an almighty correction and so many who can ill afford it will get stung. Day's like today just lull us into an even deeper sense of false security ..... Perhaps were wrong and the market will just keep on climbing but I doubt it very much, Which is why like you I now day trade and I'm almost entirely in cash and see shorting opportunities looming large every where I look. ( I never thought I'd be saying that) In answer to your question, trading is my only income, having joined the ranks of the unemployed at the beginning of the year I fell into it purely by accident. I was left some Barclays shares and my horror at discovering what they were worth in Feb spurred me into action. Now I love the freedom. I know I bought these back in April for a day trade and they hit 700% In a day, Bonkers! but lovely :D Watch them go back up
