Thanks crocqman for replying, very good answer as its something I haven't thought about until recently and our conversations today has got me wondering about this in regards to percentage holdings for CEOs.
I appreciate the time to answer my question but wonder if anyone knows if they have to hold a certain percentage of shared within the company or just show the powers that be they hold x amount just to pass the criteria.

We all have to do research in our investments and I believe many people on this board give a lot of valuable opinions with their research and knowledge and that means a lot in an investment. We are all in this for the same reason and holders sharing information is what makes this board the best I'm involved with, very little bickering and personal insults like many boards I read, just good honest information. As always DYOR but sharing any of that is always appreciated.

Thanks for the info crocqman, I am aware regarding CEO having to have a holding to meet criteria but not to what extent of a percentage they have to hold.
Do you have an idea about that as I hold shares in other small cap companies and the CEO hold anything from just over half a million to several.
In the companies I'm involved in FG holds the most in terms of shares and that is why I believe QBT to be the one that will make a difference.

Morning crocqman, I'm inclined to agree with you in regards to the how's and whys of FG and his shares.
I still believe that his holding of 35 million shares should instill confidence as any CEO of any small up and coming company holding this many shares must believe in themselves and what the company can possibly achieve,
I'm not saying the sp will rise on this buyback but at the same time FG knows that if this fails he and his team have an awful lot more than us to lose and that in itself hives me confidence.
I would lack confidence if the CEO either offloads a considerable amount or didn't own as many as us shareholders in the first place then I would be worried.

Great article polykratis, just read it and it all points to what QBT is trying to achieve, perhaps FG was waiting for news like this to appear before producing a life changing RNS eh!!!

Swervington good morning, like I said in previous post everyone is entitled to their opinion and its good that you are invested, it can get nervy when news doesn't come but keep the faith and I'm sure you will get you £1 share.... personally I'm not selling until £1.50 is hit then I can retire.

When FG buys back these shares to take his holding to 35 million then that should surely give LTH and any newcomers that want to get on board confidence that good things are on the horizon.
FG and his team will know how close they are with all the work behind the scenes and when there is news to share with us then they will do it. I think it's important for businesses to deliver news when it's real news and will make an impact, not just sharevany news for the sake of updating the markets but nothing of significance.
I know people get nervous when there is no news for months and that's understandable but in my experience of share holding and investing long term then you do need a lot of patience which can be very rewarding.

I personally believe everyone has right to an opinion for or against.. no harm in that but for any genuine holders like myself then I am certainly not selling any of my shares on what is said on a bb. QBT in my opinion is going to be o e of the biggest shares in months or years to come, lots of things going on behind scenes and agreed nothing concrete has been disclosed but I believe it will come. This is a complex business and with a highly qualified team in all departments I'm sure when news drops the sp will only go north and I'm certainly hoping it will help towards early retirement for me and change the lives of many holders.
Patience is key to any shares but it will IMHO be worth the wait, just do your research and you will find this has huge potential and will hopefully change many lives for the better.

ATB seven, we are all adults and put money into investments to make money but on this occasion it hasn't worked out, doesn't mean it will never work out for this company... just going to take longer.. that's life but I genuinely wish you the best in what you go on to do but we all face some failures in life and at the moment this is one of them but sometimes after failure we get stronger.. hold that thought....

seven dragons, you do write strange things, I'm a realist and investments are a gamble and shouldn't be taken as a given. If this was a big hit everyone would be having extra jubilee parties, it wasn't, its a gamble that didn't pay off and move on, do what you have to do thats right for you, I know what I'm doing. A TB

I have looked an assessment and it isn't good I'm afraid but it's only a loss if you sell. This one is definitely for the bottom draw as there are other things in pipeline for clon, yes I'm not going to lie this could have been the making of this company but wasn't meant to be but this is aim and its happened a lot.
I wish you well with whatever you decide as people will jump ship and take a big hit which is understandable as everyone has their own agenda.
I wish all genuine holders here all the best, very sad but definitely not over for clon.

All I have to say is for everyone who's inwe can't do anything about it now, we either get news after midnight aussie time or an RNS in the morning 7am our time but whatever happens, either a hit or duster we are in and that can't change the outcome.
I'm hoping like everyone else this is going to be great news and that will reflect in the sp accordingly and a nice rise, so good luck to everyone for having the guts to see this through and let's hope it's a great result.

Here's a true fact.....
Nobody knows what the outcome of the drill will be.. not us, not even the people that are drilling so why bother even trying to predict the outcome.
We allinvest in companies big or small and its all a big gamble, some fall at yhe first hurdle, some get bigger and then fail and some get bigger and keep growing, unfortunately we are not mystic megs and will never know what's round the corner so please stop trying to predict, either stay in for the gamble and hope this comes good or take your investment out and try so.ewhere else because everything in life is a gamble, even just waking up in the morning can be a gamble so enjoy the ride if you have the guts and let's hope it's a good result.

This I brilliant news, hopefully I as well as others at the 20s average can at least get our investment back as this has been a long time coming.
I would be happy just to break even but others will want a profit understandably but at one stage I though I had lost the lot so happy to get my money back at least but I will see how it goes.

I don't post much on boards of late and new to clon, was given a tip off about the upcoming drill....
