The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Jonny, I hope that you're right regarding Omicron. The danger of course is that it becomes more widespread and mutates again. The more cases exist, the more chance of this happening. Looks like you're right regarding the transmission... So fingers crossed that catching this variant, makes our immune systems resilient to the next variant. Either way, I bought more RR this morning. I'm optimistic about the future share price.
Redirons, Thats true, For context, I am a long term holder and will continue to be so. GGP is the largest holding in my modest portfolio, and I mean no harm to anyone on this board. I'll be continuing to hold either way. My hope is that the share price rises to something like its true value, which is significantly north of here. Or, if my theory is correct I'll be holding patiently for a large pay off next year? Right?? So I'll be holding either way, and I'd heartily recommend everyone else does too. The more of this that held in private hands, the more the payout value would be. I understand that there are nefarious influencers around, I'm not one. But obviously I recommend not trusting infrequent posters like myself on here. GLA
With all that is known about GGP, it seems crazy to me that the price continues to slump. Now I'm not smart, but, there are plenty of people on here that are.... So, my theory is, some faceless corporation wants to take this private. One of the really big miners would be my bet. As I understand it, and I may be wrong, the share price average over the year is the starting point of a price for a takeover and for a squeeze out. Is this possible? Given the recent price action, it would seem to make sense to me, and the proof would be the price continuing to be static or drop slightly until February next year. Could this be right?? Or is D in GCSE business showing??
Sad to see my paper profits disappearing. But I've done my research, know the value and crazy potential here. I will try to add more... if I can find the funds. IMO this share is well placed to weather the bigger market turbulence, and should reward long term holders handsomely. Think I need a bit of masking tape on my screen to cover where KR1 is. I'll take it off in a couple of years. :) GLA.
I'm a horrid cynic, but NCYT probably should have made a donation to the tory party with all that cash. I still see there is long term value here. Regardless of the loss of the UK contract, everyone in the world still needs testing. Covid is going nowhere, new variants will be around for years, likely decades to come. Probably a good time to top up. Just an opinion. GLA.
Thats crypto! But seriously, IMO, this is also be held back because of the smaller market. Aquis isn't as visible to other investors, or available to some, and this will hold this SP back a little. KR1 aren't particularly good at giving lots of news too, which holds them back. Also, I don't think the market yet understand the raw potential and massive value here. I love to see the underlying assets move up 30%, but the SP being sluggish, because it means there's more time for me to build my position. The true value will show and this will move rapidly, and sooner rather than later. Just an opinion. GLA.
I also wouldn't agree with using the values of underlying assets on any given day. Better to use an average of the last month or two. The income of staking should be built into the price of KR1, just not quite as generously as the valuation we've seen from blonity community.
Put a stupid stop loss on Argo yesterday, triggered at 260, sold at 257, literally the worst possible price on the day. I have learned my lesson and I'll be more careful with my stop losses in the future. Still, happy to take profits. Putting my gains into KR1, and sitting on my hands. There is massive value in the portfolio of assets, especially while this crypto bull run continues. Big fan of this stock. Would also recommend Blonity's analysis. GLA
Crypto can go green. Many use solar and other renewables to mine. Also, Biden won't want to be called out as a massive hypocrite destroying the crypto industry in the name of global warming, whist the USA subsidises the oil and gas industry. Whilst I'm here, I'm holding GGP, and day trading SVE on the side. Like yourself, the lag between them has paid off for me a few times. Unfortunately with the recent drops, I find myself I'm holding both through the dip. But, both can and are coming back. I'm also very bullish on 'Hive blockchain', which i'm holding too. GLA
Delighted with the gains here recently. Using some profits from the last few days I've bought a little HIVE and MARA. With the whole crypto mining sector taking off as the currencies are rising enormously, it seemed wise to me to diversify. GLA.
