Unless something tangible emerges from somewhere before the end of the week, we'll end 2025 with the usual disappointment which seems to be the business model of Sareum. This is not a "lifestyle" company: It's a company dogged by bad luck and questionable management competence. I honestly thought 2025 was going to be the year in which we were taken over or achieved a decent SP.

Questionable decisions and sheer bad luck yes, but I don't buy into the "lifestyle company" theory. All AIM CEO's seem overpaid because they tend to be able to set rates themselves or "remuneration committees". We have to live with that most of the time and when it appears for a vote, I think most of us just tick "yes".

I just don't think the three Amigos are stretching this out. I think they want to end their scientific careers on a high. They're not in their 30/40's: They're in their 60's and might want to wind down and get away from the hassle of trying to get things done in the current climate of doom.

Maybe, just maybe we'll get some positive news for a change just in time for Christmas!

On the 10 October, we were informed that the trial had been halted because of concerns for the welfare of the trial animals. Since then, the usual silence from Parker and the rest.

Do these people have a death wish for Sareum? After 20 years have they still not learned that they are hopeless communicators? These are very intelligent men but with poor awareness of how to drive a business forward.

As each day passes and the SP is further eroded, I do have concerns about where this is going to end up. We seem to be in the dreaded AIM zone of losing direction and clear purpose.

For all our sakes, Dr Parker et al, give us a reason to be optimistic as yet another year passes!

DP, very funny that you compare SAR with VAL and mention George and the dragon. Bearing in mind that VAL is finished and likely to be delisted soon, the days of George and the dragon look positively halcyon! Val has had some right idiots running it since then.

I wonder whether 7p will be the floor? Despite every trade seeming to be a sell today, it held. There can't be many left to churn.
