Conventional gas exploitation would require a gas gathering system, connection all gas producing wells, which would then be routed to a purpose built gas processing Terminal. Then from the Terminal, a gas export pipeline to tie into one of the large feeders already passing through Georgia. I'd say three to five years from now, if the decision was made today.
However, as long as there is little CO2 in the gas, which I believe there isn't, the gas can be monetised much quicker by bringing in portable LNG plants. Production wouldn't be as great as a full blown Terminal, but much better than our current 0.5 mscf/day. Then again, some sort of LNG facility would need to be built at Batumi to handle the LNG. SN alluded to LNG shipments to Odessa a few years ago if you remember?
