The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Monti, we went in 2017 lol.
Yes, ToT paid a seperate visit after the gang of four.
ZM fobbed me off a few times on my questions about the gas plant. I knew he was talking BS, as natural gas processing was my job. Everything else he said I swallowed, hook, line and sinker. He was at ease in front of an audience, as came across very calm and confident.
Have a listen to this Monti, I think it's quite fitting for us older peeps:-

Monti, your memory is playing tricks on you. ToT, Devex, myself and three others ran FoF. It was Mole, R8pilot, Wishful thinker and myself that went to Georgia, with flights kindly paid for by regulars on this board if my memory serves me right 😊
Bezzy, I'm already working on my act. :)
Just caught up with the last few days posts. I often wondered how Looed made Company contact, and now we know. From a personal point of view, I can't thank Looed enough for all he/she has done for the Company and for this board. Top effort 👏.
Whether we shareholders will figure in a future rebirth of Frontera Resources is unknown. I wrote this off years ago, so any financial return would be an unexpected bonus.
Contra, I hear you and am looking forward to Woolies return to the High street :).
What I don't understand is everybody getting so uptight and personal about Looeds messages from the Company. For all we know, his method of communicating could be via a Ouija board? Is there anybody there: lol
I'll open the first store lol
He truly is a slithy tove. Reminds me of a certain chap from Carlisle I know.
And many thanks from me Looed for your continued input, patience, explanations and sense of fair play.👏
Merry Christmas Billylashvilli.
There's Chinese everywhere. Personally, I prefer an Indian or a Thai.
Yes Santa stops here, en route north to Carlisle. He loads up with Greens meat and potato pies.
1) The CIA
2) Print more.
Lol, there's a Woolies in Spandau town centre, Berlin. Just have to drop my lederhosen.
You're getting better Lady mapp. Good that you're not losing your marbles, or are you? 🤣
No investor influenced me to go all in here Lady mapp. It was SN himself who convinced me to buy into FRR. I watched his presentation at the 2011 Oil Barons conference and thought "wow, this Company is going places". And the rest, as they say is history. Needless to say, that presentation is no longer available on Youtube.
At one time I owned 2% of the Company, in the days when there was a little over 2 billion shares in issue. I think it was 2013 when the share price took off and reached 1.84p at it's maximum. I was £12k short of being a millionaire at that time. I watched the SP go all the way up and watched it go all the way back down without selling one share, because that's what amateurs do. I stayed loyal to the Company and never got out at break even, because that's what amateurs do. In January 2016, the SP started it's long decline from a rock steady 0.7p to 0.06p. The Company began to print shares like confetti, heavily diluting my 2% stake, then along came Zaza. In next to no time, the SP recovered to 0.7p and beyond. I was in profit. Did I sell? No. Why? Because that's what amateurs do.
My faith in the Company had taken a battering. I was very suspicious of the whole set up. Then an opportunity came in 2017 to visit the Companys set up in Georgia. Three PI's and my good self spent two days in Tbilisi and visited a couple of operational sites owned by the Company. Our travelling expenses were paid by all the great contributors to this board. We were given presentations all about the Companys set up, it's history and the Geology and reserves of what is underfoot in Block 12. My faith was restored. I was once again convinced I was onto a winner. Back in the UK I attended 2 of the 4 presentations that Zaza gave in London and swallowed all the good news and promises that Zaza had to offer. Because that's what amateurs do.
Pyro, yes we have met and quaffed together. I've bought your hooky Firesticks and we've shared many a laugh on here over the years. However, I feel your posting like John Wayne with all guns blazing may be enough to make Looed shut up shop and throw away the key. Any misunderstanding on either part will be difficult to negotiate peacfully, as I think you're further apart than Putin and Zelensky.
Never mind, you've provided some light entertainment on a dull Sunday afternoon. Don't get too stressed out pyro, or your retirement wont be as long as you wish lol.
By the way, does Colin Pritchard from Cardiff know Ronnie Pickering by any chance?

Prax, think yourself lucky. The rest of us have had to wait five years.
Don't want to add fuel to your fire Lady mapp, but HL are giving away £3.5k to investors who transfer in to them.

Kipper, Looed is FRRs Banksy. He / She doesn't want to be flushed out or give anything away as to who this person may be, raison d'etre, association with Company etc. Suffice to say, I think the vast majority of us are glad that Looed just happened along one day and since that arrival date, has done and continues to do a sterling job on behalf of us all.
Whether FRR have plans to return to market, or the sell off the Company, I doubt he or she knows the answer and certainly wouldn't tell us if he / she did. We've waited 5 years for this story to unfold and have no choice but to continue to wait for the final chapter.
