James O I think you should give up now you have been rumbled. You carry a paper loss of circa £10k into the start of business today. If you owned shares in WG before last Friday your position may be worse.

You are obviously not like Aspers or indeed me who are long time holders here.

Find some other hobby James and good luck.

Down 13% in less than a week. I have not seen any negative news in this regard but do concede the sector seems to be taking a bit of a hit.

Have topped up at 98p. Time will tell.

I could not agree more with your comments. It is depressing reading most of the idiotic stuff that has manifested itself here since the news of an accounting investigation. Try and ignore and continue to post here.

Tiresome, perhaps 2025 will be the year.

Aucuba is correct in his observations to date. I am hoping that the company is really doing better and the BOD is not indulging in half truths.

I suspect that like many others on here I would be looking for the" jam tomorrow" to materialise and the SP to get past £2 approaching 2025.

I am sure all LTIs are hoping for a rerate as the old disastrous contracts are long since passed.

I am holding a lot of these having averaged down a week ago so I need this to push towards the one quid mark.

Trust the update next week will be steady with no surprises.

Seems to have difficulty getting and staying past 90p. Mixed signals coming in respect of large public construction projects!!!

With or without Questor must have a good chance of reaching 80P in the coming weeks.

Results are OK but FCF and an increase in net debt still a concern.

Being A LTH I am forced to hold for the promised up turn in 2025. There has been quite a few promises now and one always has to be wary of "jam tomorrow".

We live in hope and I would hasten to add that I am a genuine shareholder unlike some regular posters on here.

Yes it is difficult to remain positive here. Being a LTH I will give it the rest of 2024.

Lets hope at that time I do not have to take some very unpleasant medicine. GLA

FMR and FIL (same entity) have both increased their holdings in Wood in 2024.

Together they own nearly 20% of the shares. Significant!!! FIL appears to be more active increasing/decreasing their holdings.

Tree shake - could be. Someone knows what they are doing. I hasten to admit I am a bit in the dark here.

Just rechecked and there does not appear to be any current short positions. All the more curious other than speculation!!

Sizeable drop in SP over the last 6 weeks.

Cannot find any specific reason(s) other than slight increase in short positions.

Any ideas?
