Something not mentioned is the possibility to return farm land to forest/ other carbon sinks which are badly needed to offset aviation etc.

Certainly not an expert however for me the following is clear:

Increasing population and demand for food
Aspirational Western meat based diet in developing nations
Shrinking available productive land area due to droughts/ desertification. Rainforest being felled for cattle grazing.
Increasing emphasis on emissions from farming practices/ livestock
Ethical concerns around intensive farming/ fishing
Greater awareness of food footprints
Dwindling ocean stocks of tuna etc

ANIC could be the answer to the above?

However keen to learn more about the required inputs for this tech ...
